Recently, a volunteer team of over 20 young teachers broke this tranquility and added brilliant colors to the summer sky for children. They are international students from Fudan Middle School in Shanghai, Yangsi Senior High School in Shanghai, Hexian Bilingual International School in Shanghai, and some overseas students. They have launched a four-day public welfare summer camp teaching activity at Dachaigou Primary School. The rich and diverse course experiences and innovative teaching methods have illuminated the hopes and dreams of children in mountainous areas.
From breaking ice to transforming, I have won the respect and love of children
On the first day of teaching support, the young teachers and local children broke the ice and warmed up. During the four-day teaching activity, volunteers showed their "unique skills" by teaching lower grade children to draw self portraits and tie dye them with the natural colors of plants; Teaching senior children to make aromatherapy candles, depict blue and white porcelain vases, and develop solar powered robotic dogs... With the inspiration and exploration of young teachers, children's talents are fully utilized. The hall of the achievement exhibition is filled with children's works, resembling a small science and technology art exhibition.
