On the morning of July 11th, a special unveiling ceremony at Jinhui Commercial Plaza located on Guzong Road in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area, attracted the attention of many passersby. The internet celebrity sculpture landscape, jointly funded and donated by four member units of the Guzong Road Merchant Autonomous Alliance, has officially made its debut. This is also a vivid example of the autonomous alliance exploring the "micro transformation" of commercial areas, promoting joint construction, governance, and management.
After the unveiling ceremony, residents in the surrounding communities took photos and checked in with internet celebrity sculptures. They exclaimed that this was originally an abandoned fountain landscape that had become a garbage "distribution center". Unexpectedly, it has now been transformed into an internet celebrity landscape, which not only improves the hygiene environment but also beautifies the community.
As one of the earliest commercial districts built in the main urban area of Lingang, Jinhui Square has encountered bottlenecks in its development in recent years, with problems such as mismatched business formats, poor hygiene and maintenance, and irregular order gradually emerging. How to transform Jinhui Square from its old appearance to a new one is not only a hot topic in the community, but also a difficult problem that more than 200 merchants in the square are eager to solve.
In order to find a solution to the problem, the Dingke Community Party Branch where Jinhui Square is located adheres to the guidance of party building and multi-party participation, fully leveraging the political and organizational advantages of grassroots party organizations, and stimulating the enthusiasm of various entities in the community to participate in community governance. Community workers extensively listen to the opinions of merchants through visits, research, communication, and discussions. After the establishment of the Autonomous Alliance, the members of the council discussed relevant matters through weekly meetings, ranging from coordinating with functional departments for governance actions to cleaning up garbage in front of the door. They effectively standardized the hygiene management, garbage disposal, and item placement of merchants. The Autonomous Alliance has also coordinated to solve the problem of "night market difficulties", ensuring the normal operation of merchants and daily standardized management.
