What's special about it?, Customized new energy cruise ships for the Hangzhou Asian Games
On August 31st, the new energy vessel customized by Wuxi Shipbuilding Company for water tourism at the Hangzhou Asian Games began the final round of re inspection after trial voyage. It is expected that in three days, these cruise ships will depart from the Chendong Port Port in Yixing and arrive in Hangzhou through the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal. On September 23rd, after the opening of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, five "Wuxi made" new energy cruise ships customized for the Asian Games will be unveiled, carrying Chinese and foreign tourists to enjoy the scenery of Hangzhou's "Three Rivers and Two Banks" and the Grand Canal.
The design and construction of five new energy ships were all completed by two boat companies located in the Binhu District of Wuxi. They all adopt a hybrid power system of "lithium battery+diesel", which has the characteristics of zero emissions and quiet comfort in pure electric mode. At the same time, diesel power mode can also be used to meet the requirements of long endurance. Among them, the waterbus designed and built by Wuxi Dongfang Expressway Boat Development Co., Ltd., named "New Huanglong", has a passenger capacity of 150 people; In addition, four new energy cruise ships were built by Wuxi Dongfang Shipbuilding High Performance Boat Engineering Co., Ltd., named "Jiangcui", "Jiangwei", "Jianglu", and "Jiangxue", corresponding to the Qiantang River throughout the year, with a passenger capacity of 100 people.
In addition to low-carbon environmental protection, there are also many small details tailored for the Hangzhou Asian Games on the 5 ships. Li Fenglei, the general manager of Dongfang High Speed Craft, introduced that in order to meet the water surface height limit of 4.9 meters for the Hangzhou Canal waterway, the walking deck on the roof of the rear hall of the "New Huanglong" is equipped with a domestically pioneered adjustable and retractable glass wind and rain canopy. In addition, the "New Huanglong" can be seen with Hangzhou elements when lifted up, and the overall shape of the ship draws inspiration from the seal culture of Hangzhou Xiling Seal Society, and combines Hangzhou silk with classical landscape painting as exterior decoration.
To serve athletes, spectators, and more, the Hangzhou Asian Games not only prepared customized versions of new energy vessels, but also customized intelligent multiple units. On August 4th, as the countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Games approached 50 days, the Fuxing Asian Games intelligent high-speed train experienced its first external test ride at Hangzhou West Station. This train, specially designed for the Hangzhou Asian Games, was purchased with funding from Zhejiang Transportation Group. The front of the train adopts the "Eagle Falcon" bionic design, which can significantly reduce air resistance and is expected to save energy by 10%. The interior and exterior decorations of the vehicle are designed with the themes of "Chinese characteristics, Zhejiang style, Hangzhou charm" and "Runze Jiangnan" respectively. The main color tone of the exterior adopts the Asian Games main image color "Rainbow Rhyme Purple", and the Asian Games emblem, slogan, and the Qiantang River surging tide representing Hangzhou's characteristics are added to the interior of the vehicle. During the competition, Hangzhou will be connected with six cities, including Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou, to achieve interconnectivity between various venues.
Nowadays, "Wuxi made" new energy ships are not only favored by the Asian Games, but also have already sailed to waters such as Tianmu Lake in Jiangsu, Yangtze River in Wuhan, Minjiang River in Fujian, and Haihe River in Tianjin. At present, domestic inland waterway shipping and tourism, especially in the Yangtze River Delta region, are gradually entering the "pure electric era", which has also led "Wuxi Manufacturing" new energy ships to a new track of industrial development, making Wuxi a "leader" in domestic new energy electric ships.
