The main line of the Shanghai Nanjing Yangtze River High speed Railway is 278.53 kilometers long, with a maximum design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The entire line has 8 stations, including Nanjing South, Jurong, Jintan, Wujin, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang, Changshu, and Taicang. It connects to Shanghai through the first phase of the Shanghai Tong Railway at Taicang Station. After the opening of the Shanghai Nanjing high-speed railway along the Yangtze River, it will further narrow the temporal and spatial distance between the top 100 counties in China along the line, such as Jurong, Jintan, Wujin, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang, and Changshu, and Shanghai and Nanjing. This is of great significance for improving the regional rapid railway network and promoting the economic and social development of the southern Jiangsu Yangtze River region.

Shen Mingquan, former party secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Civil Affairs Department, had previously been transferred to the post of deputy secretary of the Taizhou Municipal CPC Committee and acting mayor.
Previously, Chen Bin served as the Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Affairs of Zhejiang Province, a member of the Party Group, and a first-class inspector. On July 3rd this year, the Organization Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee issued a pre appointment notice for cadres, stating that Chen Bin intends to serve as the head of the provincial unit. Chen Bin was born in July 1974, a graduate student and a member of the Communist Party of China. Chen Bin worked in Ningbo in his early years and held various positions, including Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Department of the Ningbo Municipal Government Office, Deputy Director of the Secretary Department of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee Office, and Deputy Director of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee Confidential Bureau. Afterwards, Chen Bin was transferred to Jiangxi Province and held various positions including Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Government Service Management Office, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee Office, Deputy Secretary General of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and full-time Deputy Director of the Provincial Party Committee National Security Committee Office, and Inspector of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee Office. In May 2022, Chen Bin returned to Zhejiang and served as the Deputy Director and Party Member of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Civil Affairs.
