Handmade a "golden doll" lantern, strolling through the streets and alleys; Begging a lotus flower from the "flower seller" and gifting it to a beautiful woman; Watching young women in Han suits challenge "threading the needle" and make wishes for luck... On August 22, Quzhou held Qixi Festival.
For the Qixi Festival, Quzhou Shuitingmen historical and cultural street is completely new. Under the old city building, there are street markets integrating the business categories of the Song Dynasty and the cultural tourism elements of the Song Dynasty, wonderful activities such as Qiqiao Garden Party, Song Yun Street Performance, puppet show, storytelling, and embroidery ball throwing.
Before the Qixi Festival, many people have been impressed by the first "golden doll" themed six color overprint seal in Quzhou in the circle of friends. The inspiration for its image design comes from the collection of Southern Song Dynasty golden dolls in the Quzhou Museum. They are 2 centimeters long and weigh 6 grams. They were unearthed from the tomb of Shengzu in the tenth year of the Xianchun reign of the Southern Song Dynasty. The shape of the doll is called "Mo Drink Le" from the Song Dynasty. The word "Mo Drink Le" is a transliteration of foreign words in Chinese. In the literature of the Song Dynasty, the translation methods vary, some are written as "mocha le", while others are written as "mohara", abbreviated as "mala", etc.
A golden baby, in a crawling shape, looks up and gazes, frowning and smiling. She holds a ring in her right hand and a new lotus branch in her left hand, leaning against her back. Meng Yuanlao gave a more realistic description of grinding, drinking and music in the "Record of Dreams in Tokyo": "Three or five days before Qixi, there were many cars and horses in the city, and the streets were full of Luo Qi, and the lotus flowers were not opened. All people were good at pretending to make double headed lotus flowers. They took a moment to play and carried them home, and passers-by often felt sorry for them. Also, children must buy new lotus leaves to hold them, and they should imitate the grinding, drinking and music. Children's generation specially made new makeup and carefully boasted of their freshness." According to the ancient documents, the shapes of cultural relics unearthed were generally children holding lotus, lotus flowers or lotus leaves, and they were given "Qixi dolls" "" ". Marriage, suitable for children, etc.
At the event site, there was a constant stream of citizens and tourists receiving hand-painted maps. After completing the designated scene check-in game, the staff stamped a customized special seal on the postcard. "I came here to gather all the golden dolls!" Ms. Chen, a citizen of Quzhou, came here with great enthusiasm and returned satisfied. She held up a "golden doll" postcard to take a photo and posted it on her social media. In no time, she received two lines of "likes".
The cultural relics, landmarks, and cuisine of Quzhou are all excellent design elements that can be used in the development of cultural and creative areas. Zhou Yiru, a native of Quzhou, designed a 6-color stamp with the theme of "Golden Doll". She placed her familiar Heavenly King Pagoda and Water Pavilion doors in the background, and on the lake surface covered by lotus leaves and lotus flowers, there were uniquely shaped Kongming lanterns floating, expressing her beautiful wishes for life. When designing the "Golden Doll" fan and lantern design, Zhou Yiru also added Confucian elements such as ginkgo leaves to the "Golden Doll" holding lotus flowers.
Quzhou creates a strong sense of atmosphere.
"The scenery of Qixi is far away, and we only met for one night. The month is the opening candle, and the clouds are the bridge crossing the river..." A beam of chasing light hit under the city wall of Shuiting Gate, and the storyteller told us. In the tenth year of the Xianchun reign of the Southern Song Dynasty, the male lead Shi Shengzu and Luo Shuangshuang met and wrote a classic love story that has been passed down for thousands of years in Quzhou. This Qixi sitcom interprets the links of lovers in the Song Dynasty from acquaintance to love, and then to ritual.
At a corner of Shuiting Street, @ merchandiser Yiqing, who was once famous for sending flowers by the West Lake and sending Zongzi in front of Deshou Palace, put down his shoulder pole. He is still dressed in Han costumes. The basket in front of him is full of budding lotus flowers. He interacts with tourists. Yiqing's questions revolve around the customs of Qixi Festival and the local scenery of Quzhou.
A postcard, a fan, a lantern... The evening breeze gently brushes against the face, and on the bustling Shuiting Street, it feels like time and space overlap: children hold fresh lotus leaves above their heads to imitate the appearance of "grinding, drinking, and enjoying". Adults compete to buy newly picked but not yet opened lotus buds, tie them up in the shape of parallel lotus, and prepare to go home to enjoy.
