Originally the largest production base for antibiotics and anti-tumor drugs in China, a small town in Zhejiang Province, China | Top 100 Counties | Cancer
Recently, Zhejiang Linhai held a pharmaceutical industry investment environment promotion conference in Shanghai.
Linhai is a historic and cultural city, one of the top 100 counties in China with comprehensive competitiveness, and one of the top 100 counties in China with innovation. It is also known as the "Green Medicine Capital of China". In the late 1980s, Zhejiang Linhai Pharmaceutical Factory developed and produced a batch of commonly used clinical drugs for sale in Shanghai. For example, neutral protease tablets used to treat chronic bronchitis have a total effective rate of 97.8% in several major hospitals in Shanghai. Afterwards, Shuiyang Chemical Industry Zone and Coastal Chemical Industry Park were successively established, and the pharmaceutical industry near the sea developed rapidly.
At present, Linhai has gathered a large number of pharmaceutical leading enterprises such as Huahai Pharmaceutical, Yongtai Technology, and Aoxiang Pharmaceutical, forming a complete industrial chain of "pharmaceutical intermediates raw materials preparations". Linhai is also the only national level chemical raw material drug export base and the largest antibiotic and anti-tumor drug production base in China, with an annual export volume accounting for about one-third of Zhejiang and one tenth of the country. There are over 500 varieties of chemical raw materials and intermediates produced in bulk in Linhai, with nearly 40 intermediates and raw material products ranking among the top three in the global market share.
In recent years, Linhai has been seizing advantages and promoting the traditional medical and chemical industry to undergo new energy fission, transition to new materials, and upgrade to high-end formulations. In order to seize new tracks in the industry and cultivate new driving forces for development, Linhai has specially established investment promotion teams for industrial chains such as new energy, new materials, digital economy, and high-end preparations. At the promotion meeting, a total of 10 projects were centrally signed, involving pharmaceutical industry projects and pharmaceutical industry funds.
This time, Linhai hopes to use this as an opportunity to promote the local pharmaceutical industry to a larger market.
