Nine container inland waterway routes in Anhui and Henan provinces set sail on the same day, connecting the Yangtze River and Huai River containers | Route | Anhui and Henan provinces
1. Nine container shipping routes from Anhui to Henan will start on the same day
On August 19th, Zhoukou Port and Huaibin Port in Henan Province were linked with Fuyang Port, Hefei Port, and Wuhu Port in Anhui Province. Nine container shipping routes along the Jianghuai Canal opened on the same day.
The nine container shipping routes opened this time include Zhoukou Hefei, Zhoukou Wuhu, Zhoukou Hefei Wuhu, Huaibin Hefei, Huaibin Wuhu, Huaibin Hefei Wuhu, Fuyang Hefei, Fuyang Wuhu, and Fuyang Hefei Wuhu.
With the opening of the Jianghuai Canal route, the Yangtze and Huai Rivers will be pulled together, greatly reducing the time and spatial distance of shipping between two provinces and five cities. Among them, the route from Fuyang to Hefei has been shortened from 965 kilometers to 305 kilometers, and the sailing time has been shortened from 7 days to 3 days; The route from Fuyang to Wuhu has been shortened from 820 kilometers to 450 kilometers, and the sailing time has been shortened from 6 days to 4 days; The Huaibin Hefei route has shortened the distance from 995 kilometers to 335 kilometers and the sailing time from 7 days to 3 days; The Huaibin Wuhu route has shortened the distance from 850 kilometers to 480 kilometers, and the sailing time from 6 days to 4 days. This will save logistics costs by 200-300 yuan per TEU, further improving the transportation efficiency of goods in Anhui and Henan, and effectively reducing logistics costs for enterprises in the port hinterland.
2. 2 deaths and 5 injuries, the Suzhou Anhui intercity bus suddenly caught fire
At around 11:42 am on August 20th, an intercity bus traveling from Lai'an County, Anhui to Linchang Station on National Highway 104 in Nanjing Citibank section suddenly caught fire while driving. At around 12 o'clock, the open flames on site were extinguished.
After preliminary investigation, the cause of the fire was the spontaneous combustion of a lithium battery carried by a passenger. The fire caused 2 fatalities among passengers and 5 localized burns. They have been sent to the hospital for treatment and are not in life-threatening condition.
The situation related to the accident is under further investigation.
3. A batch of new energy vehicles set sail from Changzhou Port
On August 18th, at the Lu'anzhou Port in Changzhou, 399 BYD new energy vehicles "Yuan PLUS" set sail from Changzhou Port on barges and were shipped to Yangshan Port in Shanghai for overseas transportation. This is the first batch of new energy vehicles directly exported from Changzhou Port in Changzhou.
Previously, containers had to be pulled from Yangshan Port in Shanghai first; In the future, enterprises can use their own containers from Changzhou Port to load goods nearby, which not only improves the efficiency of container use but also saves logistics costs.
From January to July, the export value of BYD in Changzhou reached 2.9 billion yuan, with over 150000 new energy vehicles produced by the base, of which yuan PLUS accounted for over 70%.
In the first half of this year, the production of new energy vehicles in Changzhou reached 271900 units, a year-on-year increase of 130.2%, accounting for 66.9% of the province's total, ranking first in the province.
