The Chuzhou Nanjing Intercity Railway starts from Chuzhou High Speed Railway Station in the west, passes through Chuzhou City, Suzhou Chuzhou Industrial Park, Lai'an County, and Jiangbei New Area in Nanjing City, and ends at Nanjing North Station. The total length of the line is about 55 kilometers, with 17 stations, using D-type trains in the urban area, with a designed speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and a total investment of about 18 billion yuan. The Nanjing section is only over 5 kilometers long, with two stations, Beidou Industrial Park Station and Nanjing North Station. It is the first intercity railway in Anhui Province, and after the entire line is opened, it is expected to become the first inter provincial intercity railway in China. "After the opening of the Chuning Intercity Railway, trains will operate as public transportation, with an average of 15 minutes per train."
