Drinking yogurt without licking the lid always feels like something is missing? The "no milk" yogurt developed by Wenzhou enterprises has caught the attention of dairy products | packaging | enterprises
Recently, a packaging company in Leqing, Wenzhou, developed a yogurt lid packaging that can avoid getting a drop of yogurt, which has sparked a lot of discussion. Netizens have different opinions, some think it's too convenient, while others feel that there's a lack of ritual like licking the milk cap. When people usually drink yogurt, they always get a thick layer when they open the lid. Many people habitually lick it, while others feel embarrassed and waste it.
Of course, Sun Guojin, the general manager of Zhejiang Jinshi Packaging Co., Ltd., has also encountered such an embarrassment. At that time, he was gathering with a few entrepreneurial friends. When someone opened the yogurt, the part attached to the lid splattered onto his body and could only be licked off with his mouth. So the other party half jokingly said to him, "Do you guys who specialize in packaging should study and invent a lid that doesn't touch milk?".
The speaker had no intention, but the listener had intention. Sun Guojin conducted a thorough investigation. In fact, the packaging technology for milk caps that do not touch milk is relatively mature abroad, but it is still basically blank in China. The desire for the milk cap to not touch milk is closely related to material mechanics. Based on 30 years of accumulated tension system data, Jinshi Packaging has formed a team to develop this "milk free" yogurt cap. Its surface is treated with new material technology, which has hydrophobicity like lotus leaves and also has food safety, and has obtained a national patent.

It took five years to develop the product, and the next step is promotion. There are many customers for Jinshi Packaging, including Guangming, Yili, New Hope, and Sanyuan Most of them are well-known dairy companies. "For customers, whether they can accept such a new product or not, they also need to conduct research first," Ji Juan, Vice President of Jinshi Packaging Enterprise Research Institute, told reporters. Many dairy companies have also received feedback on the issue of milk cap contamination in their user surveys, believing that it does represent a market demand and can accept samples.
At present, "no milk" yogurt caps are mostly used in the mid to high end product lines of dairy enterprises. Although the cost of a regular lid has doubled, it has not had much impact on the overall cost of yogurt. In addition, consumers have given the product good reviews, so dairy companies have continued to place orders with Jinshi Packaging, resulting in good sales. Why is it on fire? Jijuan believes that it is mainly because their company's products are consumer goods for people's livelihoods, which are closely related to the lives of the people, and everyone has a voice. "Some people like to try new things and find our products very interesting. After all, the 'no milk' yogurt lid does have the advantages of convenience and no waste," she said. But ultimately, this is a two-way choice. Jinshi Packaging does not directly connect with consumers, their customers are dairy companies, and dairy companies choose "non milk stained" yogurt caps because some consumers are willing to choose such products. "Whether it's dairy companies or us, we all do this based on research, not blindly. Ultimately, it's all about market feedback and demand," Ji Juan said. She also stated that many domestic packaging companies are currently exploring and developing milk free packaging. "Recently, more and more dairy companies have proactively approached us to inquire about 'no milk' yogurt caps, and they have also asked us if we have any other new products." Ji Juan said.
Last year, Jinshi Packaging hired returned researchers and established its own new material research and development laboratory. The laboratory is currently developing products such as packaging films that can replace preservatives and single material recyclable packaging. The things that can be done on small packaging are far broader than we imagine.
