On June 28th, the third phase project of Shanghai Xinmi Technology Co., Ltd. was put into operation in the Feicui Park of Lingang Industrial Zone. The commissioning of this project will expand the production capacity by about 60% on the existing basis, and the production capacity will reach 1 million sealing rings of various sizes, meeting about 70% of the demand for perfluorinated seals in the domestic semiconductor industry.
Xie Changjie, Chairman of Xinmi Technology, introduced that ordinary rubber cannot withstand high temperatures and other environments, so some key steps and core processes of semiconductors require high-end perfluorinated rubber sealing rings. But a few years ago, there were almost no similar domestically produced products. After three years of research and development and manufacturing, Xinmi Technology has established a firm foothold in this field, and many well-known domestic integrated circuit enterprises are using its products extensively.
"Our original Phase I and Phase II projects were almost fully loaded, with strong demand." Xie Changjie said, "In order to further expand production capacity and increase the proportion of high-tech products, Xinmi Technology launched Phase III project construction at the end of last year, which took 6 months to successfully complete the clean car room decoration and main equipment installation. The Phase III project can provide strong sealing guarantees for China's semiconductor industry."
The reporter saw that representatives from several well-known domestic wafer fabs and equipment manufacturers attended the production ceremony. They stated that the global supply of fluorine materials has been relatively tight recently, and the launch of the third phase project of Xinmi Technology has greatly enhanced the stability of the supply chain. In the future, we will further deepen technical exchanges and expand business cooperation with Xinmi Technology, and work together to promote the development of domestic semiconductor perfluorinated sealing technology.
