The ten innovative technologies for artificial intelligence released this time include intelligent robots, intelligent computing, metaverse, intelligent science, intelligent connected vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, etc., covering various key areas of the artificial intelligence industry in Pudong New Area. Among them, Jingtai Technology has independently developed the world's first macromolecular drug generation AI model, ProteinGPT2.0, based on GPT like technology and fully implemented in real drug research and development pipelines. It has performed excellently in multiple scenarios such as antibody discovery, antibody engineering, antigen design, and protein de novo design, and has rapidly iterated with the support of high-throughput automated experimental clusters.
The high-performance RoCEv2 DPU launched by Shanghai Yunmai Xinlian is a data processing unit chip specifically designed for data center network optimization in the currently most concerned domestic chip field. It adopts network acceleration technology based on RDMA over Converged Ethernet protocol, which can achieve efficient data transmission and low latency network access. This chip has a leading advantage in similar products both domestically and internationally, and is currently the only DPU chip in China that supports the RoCEv2 protocol.
As of the end of 2022, there are over 600 key artificial intelligence enterprises in Pudong, with a scale of over 120 billion yuan in the large-scale artificial intelligence related industry. On the one hand, the technological level has been comprehensively improved. The Shanghai Data Exchange, which has been established, has a total of over 1200 listed data products and a cumulative trading volume of over 300 million yuan, providing strong and easy-to-use underlying support for the era of big computing power, big data, and strong algorithms; On the other hand, legislation ensures institutional innovation, implements the Shanghai Data Regulations, releases the first local regulation on innovative applications of intelligent connected vehicles in China, and the regulations on data trading and circulation in Pudong New Area are being formulated. The action plan focuses on anchoring the "GID Chain Master" to focus on the big and the small, using the "head goose effect" of the "GID Chain Master" to stimulate the "wild goose formation vitality" of industrial digitization, with the goal of industrial high-end development, the focus on digital technology innovation, the construction of industrial digitalization mutual promotion ecology as the starting point, and the improvement of application efficiency as the foothold, continuously improving the digital level of the real economy, and helping Pudong become a leading development highland for the deep integration of new generation information technology and industry in China.
The Action Plan clearly states that by 2025, Pudong will focus on industries such as manufacturing, finance, shipping, commerce, and agriculture, cultivate 30 "GID chain leaders" enterprises, build 10 digital platforms, build 100 intelligent factories, gather 100 influential digital service providers, and drive the digital transformation of 1000 enterprises. At the same time, the first batch of "GID Chain Masters" were also released at the meeting, including COMAC, Baoxin Software, Hudong Zhonghua, Yanfeng International, Zhongwei Semiconductor, Nokia Bell, Qingmei Group, and Minimally Invasive Medical.
Fully gather resources from all parties to promote the development of the metaverse industry
The International Telecommunication Union, as the exclusive agency of the United Nations for information and communication technology, has officially established the Metaverse Focus Group. The "Exploring Element Array · ITU-T Metaverse Focus Group Working Group" officially launched at this forum is the first metaverse related activity organized by the International Telecommunication Union in China, and also the first working group established by the ITU Focus Group. This group aims to promote the standardization, technological innovation, and industrial development of the metaverse, and provide support and guidance for the global metaverse ecological construction.
