On June 21st, the second Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Science and Industry Innovation Competition, jointly organized by the G60 Joint Office and the Nine Cities Government, was officially launched in Songjiang District.
It is understood that the "Creating a Winning Future" Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Corridor Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition aims to build a high-quality platform for government, park, enterprise, and financial institutions to exchange and cooperate, cultivate and strengthen innovation entities, promote the accelerated aggregation of talents, technology, capital and other elements, stimulate the innovation potential of the G60 nine city industrial alliance, and promote the higher quality development of the G60 nine city economy.
"The first competition received strong support from nine cities, with a gathering of innovative talents and excellent projects. The brand of the 'Creating a Winning Future' competition has also begun to have influence." Jia Zhanfeng, director of the G60 Innovation Research Center, introduced that based on last year, the second competition has set up more dimensions, expanding to the four latest hot topics of intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, new materials, and life and health; More comprehensive coverage, covering all 89 counties and towns in nine cities for the first time; The participants are more diverse, and a Rongyao group has been established in collaboration with the Veterans Affairs Department of Nine Cities; The competition schedule is more professional, with an additional audition section, which will select 1000 companies to enter the preliminary round.
It is reported that all award-winning projects in the competition will be included in the project library of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Technology Achievement Transformation Fund. The fund manager, Haifu Industry Fund, will conduct on-site research on the award-winning projects. If they meet the investment direction of the fund, the due diligence process for project investment approval will be initiated. If the fund investment requirements are not met temporarily, personalized financial comprehensive service plans will be developed for the award-winning team through invitation for project roadshows, industry and finance docking, etc., to help them grow bigger and stronger, and stimulate innovation vitality.

It is reported that the nine cities will organize auditions and preliminary rounds from July to August, with the second round organized by Songjiang District and Xuancheng City in September and the final round organized by Jiaxing City in October. To ensure the openness, fairness, and impartiality of the competition selection process, the G60 Joint Office will take the lead in recommending members of the G60 Construction Task Force, the G60 Expert Advisory Committee, expert representatives from member units of the Financial Services Alliance, and representatives from various well-known investment and financing institutions to form a review expert group to evaluate the competition.
In addition, the organizers of the competition will collaborate with the G60 Financial Services Alliance and functional departments of nine cities to organize activities such as industry and finance integration, online and offline element integration, and gather and drive various investment and financing institutions. High quality participating projects will be included in the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor industry and finance integration project library, providing investment due diligence and one-on-one in-depth communication, docking with diversified financing services and resource platforms, and providing follow-up support for winning teams in various aspects such as technology achievement transformation, technology transfer, and application promotion, to help innovation teams and projects grow and strengthen.
