Here, the "Craftsmanship Inheritance and Dream Building" -2023 "Wenwantai Cup" Shanghai Creative Food Cooking Invitational Competition is being held.
The theme of this activity is "building agricultural brands to help rural revitalization". All 11 catering units participating in the event need to produce 4 creative food dishes, 1 creative Dim sum and the designated dishes: melon, ginger, fish shreds. The "creativity" is that each dish needs to use Zhangyan Intangible Cultural Heritage food - "Wen Wantai" Pickled vegetables as the main ingredient, ingredient or seasoning.
In order to ensure fairness and justice, the competition adopts a "one dish" approach to determine the winner, which only evaluates the designated dish of melon, ginger, and fish shreds - using a mandarin fish weighing about 750 grams, paired with condiments such as pickled melon and ginger.
At the beginning of the event, each participating unit exerted all their abilities and demonstrated their skills. After more than an hour, accompanied by a pungent aroma, fresh slices of melon, ginger, and fish with different colors, aromas, and flavors are brought out of the oven.
