The reporter learned from the Changning District Bureau of Culture and Tourism that the Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe has been established for 74 years, and has been serving as a showcase and study inheritor of Shanghai Opera culture for many years. It regularly organizes interaction between theater fans, students from Chen Suping's Shanghai Opera Inheritance Base, and theater troupe actors. The newly opened Changning Shanghai Opera Art Museum will showcase representative events from the development of the Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe over 70 years. Through graphic and textual displays, physical exhibits, and digital light and shadow transformations, visitors can experience the charm of traditional Chinese opera from zero distance.
Since the beginning of this year, Changning has actively promoted the integration of intangible cultural heritage elements into street life, and planned multiple "Vitality Intangible Cultural Heritage Colorful Changning" cultural and natural heritage day series activities. The newly opened "New Page Study · Intangible Cultural Heritage Theme Museum" is located on Beiyu Road, Tianshan West Road, adjacent to residential areas. After opening, except for closing on Monday, it will be open from 10am to 20:30 every day from Tuesday to Sunday, and will regularly provide activities such as reading, showcasing, and experiencing intangible cultural heritage.
On June 10th, the "Wu Nong Whispering" Pingtan Classic Book Conference and the "Changyi Book Garden" unboxing event simultaneously kicked off at the Changning Cultural and Art Center. The reporter learned that as of now, there are a total of 36 intangible cultural heritage projects listed in Changning District, including 1 national level and 10 municipal level. There are 23 representative inheritors of the listed projects, including 2 national level and 7 municipal level. With the extension of public cultural services to the grass-roots level, Changning District has also continued to carry out a series of activities of "intangible cultural heritage into the campus" and "intangible cultural heritage in the community" in recent years. By holding activities such as "our festival" Spring Festival Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival), "opera into the campus" social aesthetic education, and "twenty-four solar terms" folk custom experience, a good atmosphere for the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage has been formed. Recently, the Changning District Intangible Cultural Heritage Center has also established a dedicated Intangible Cultural Heritage Image Base. Photographers will delve into every citizen's intangible cultural heritage experience activity, using images to record and promote more people to participate in the protection of intangible cultural heritage.
In June of this year, the "Architecture Readable" promotional ambassador's micro travel activity will continue to be carried out in Changning District, promoting the "active" inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. Citizens can gain a deeper understanding of the urban texture and context of Shanghai by visiting historical and cultural landmarks such as the Lake Silk Inn, the modern architectural complex of St. John's University, the Memorial Hall of the 37th People's Night School, and the former site of the Toyota Yarn Factory Iron Works Department. It is reported that the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center of Changning District will further integrate resources within the area and create a pilot project for the integration of "intangible cultural heritage+tourism". Through popular methods such as "urban hiking" and "urban micro tourism", it will connect Changning's characteristic intangible cultural heritage space and enhance the influence of intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance.
