On June 28, the G60 satellite Internet industrial base project of Phase III of Lingang Songjiang Technology Oasis was officially delivered by Lingang United Company to Shanghai Gesi Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., and the progress was faster than expected. Under the leadership of the Songjiang District Construction Management Center, the project has achieved a new speed in the approval of "shop assistants" for construction permits in Songjiang, with acceptance on the same day, acceptance on the same day, and issuance of acceptance certificates on the same day. As the first carrier of satellite Internet industry cluster in China, the project is of great significance in pioneering the innovative development of the national aerospace industry, completing and putting into operation as soon as possible.
It is understood that the G60 satellite Internet industrial base is located in the core park of Lingang Songjiang Science and Technology City, Jiuting Town, Songjiang District. It is jointly promoted by Songjiang District, Lianhe Investment and Lingang Group. Shanghai Gesi Aerospace Science and Technology Co., Ltd. entrusted Shanghai Lingang United Development Co., Ltd. with a land area of about 36000 m2 and a total construction area of about 32000 m2.
The project is an important production and manufacturing link in the national satellite networking system project, serving the national strategy. It is planned to be put into production by the end of 2023. It is committed to building a global leading satellite Internet system, and together with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, it will build a new satellite Internet industry, become a satellite Internet industry and technology innovation center with global influence, and provide low-cost, high-speed satellite Internet services for global users.
As the first "lighthouse factory" for satellite manufacturing in the Yangtze River Delta, G60 Satellite Internet Industrial Base needs to complete the delivery of clean and fully decorated technology. It has high standards for water leakage, cleanliness, constant temperature and humidity, and is destined to be a very challenging project. To achieve the production target, the project started construction on December 10, 2021 and must complete the completion filing before June 15, 2023. The time is tight, the difficulty is high, and the task is heavy. Every step of the construction process is racing against time. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, the site was shut down for two months, and after resuming work, it encountered rare high temperatures, which significantly affected the originally tight schedule. Therefore, the approval time could only be shortened as much as possible.
