Nowadays, the lake and water colors in the western part of Qingpu not only attract painters, sculptors, and musicians, but also attract a group of designers. At the end of last year, the "Jiulang Yunchuang Design Team" project, jointly created by the Jinze Town Government and Shanghai Jiulang Yunchuang Architectural Design Co., Ltd., landed in Santang Village by the Dianshan Lake. The project transformed old farmhouses and existing factories into designer workstations by leasing idle farmhouses.

On June 26th, at the fourth anniversary party building achievement exhibition of the Yangtze River Delta Ecological Green Integration Development Demonstration Zone, the project leader of the "Jiulang Yunchuang Design Team" shared his feelings of integrating into the development of the demonstration zone.

The "Jiulang Yunchuang Design Team" project is a microcosm of the industrial development of the demonstration zone. During the event, the five towns in the demonstration zone jointly launched the "Golden Charge: Joining Hands for the Future" 2023 related actions. In addition to commending advanced figures and releasing 10 grassroots governance action projects, the five towns in the demonstration zone also showcased the economic and industrial development achievements and future planning directions since the unveiling of the demonstration zone, continuously accelerating economic development through institutional innovation and project construction.
The most eye-catching project in Jinze Town, Qingpu District is undoubtedly the Huawei Qingpu R&D Center located in Xicen Community. During the promotion, Zhang Jingyue, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Office of Jinze Town, said that the project covers an area of over 2400 acres, centered around the unique water system of Jinze and incorporating the genes of Jiangnan water towns. It has designed 8 clusters, including forest towns, urban blocks, and water towns, with a total of 108 buildings of different styles, forming a "micro city". The park is connected by landscape loops and small trains. At present, 8 clusters have been fully capped and are undergoing renovation. It is expected to be gradually put into use in 2024, and there will be 30000 to 40000 technology research and development personnel stationed in the future.
"With the help of Huawei Qingpu R&D Center's construction of 'Dongfeng', the Xicen Science and Technology Innovation Town, which covers an area of about 3390 acres, is also under construction. It will link Huawei's project layout with the upstream and downstream industrial chain, and develop industries such as chip design, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. Except for Jinze Town, the economic and industrial development of the other four towns in the pilot zone's five towns also have their own characteristics.
In addition to the Jiangnan water town, Qingpu Zhujiajiao, also known as "Oriental Venice", has another side - this is one of the few towns in Shanghai that has an industrial park. 212 on-site enterprises have settled in the 2.83 square kilometer Zhujiajiao Industrial Park. At present, the town has 120 acres of industrial land to be sold, about 320 acres of existing industrial land for secondary transformation, 16 industrial factories to be rented out, and an area of 110000 square meters. Zhujiajiao Town is vigorously developing industries such as new materials, cultural and sports leisure, big health and high-end elderly care, intelligent manufacturing, and digital economy.
Fenhu High tech Zone, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, had a regional GDP of 34.75 billion yuan last year, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%; The total industrial output value was 91.13 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5%. In recent years, Xitang Town has gradually formed an industrial layout with Xitang Ancient Town as the core, Jiaxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone B, and Xiangfudang Science and Technology Innovation Green Valley flying together with two wings. The leading industries include communication electronics, tourism services, bonded trade, etc. Taking tourism services as an example, within the 1.01 square kilometer protected area of Xitang Ancient Town, there are still intact 250000 square meters of Ming and Qing architectural complexes, and over 3000 merchants continue to illuminate the "night coordinates" of northern Zhejiang, promoting the internationalization of Xitang tourism brands.
