At the meeting, the nine cities of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor jointly released the Action Declaration on Building a Quality Strong Country Benchmark City, and the 2022 Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Quality Standard Evaluation Index System Research Report was officially released. The focus is on building high-level quality governance benchmarks, high standard quality improvement benchmarks, efficient and quality facilities benchmarks, and high-quality supply benchmarks, jointly serving the nine cities in the innovation chain, value chain, and strong chain clusters.
It is reported that the Quality Standards Innovation Alliance of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta aims to gather the government departments, universities, associations, market entities, and other forces of the G60 nine cities, focusing on the formulation, implementation, application, and high-quality development of regional standards, and gathering market-oriented and professional advantages resources. Through close communication, cooperation, and collaborative technological innovation, we can jointly improve quality and standardization work capabilities, promote the healthy and orderly development of the quality standards industry in the nine cities, and help build a scientific and high-level quality standards collaborative development system.
Li Changqing, a second level inspector of the Quality Development Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation, stated that the Quality Standard Innovation Alliance of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta should take the lead and actively explore areas such as consolidating the market mechanism within the region, promoting regional quality coordination, consolidating regional quality support, building regional quality advantages, and strengthening regional quality assurance, in order to create new advantages in regional quality development and fully promote high-quality regional economic development.

This year, as the first year of the promulgation of the Outline for Building a Quality Strong Country, holding the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Quality Standards Conference is of great significance for deepening quality exchange and cooperation among nine cities, promoting the construction of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, and implementing the Outline for Building a Quality Strong Country.
The research report on the quality standard evaluation index system of the 2022 Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor was released at the meeting. The report calculates and evaluates the construction of quality standards in nine cities along the G60 corridor in the Yangtze River Delta. Through research and analysis, shortcomings are identified and suggestions for continuous improvement are proposed, in order to promote the coordinated development of nine cities in the G60 science and technology innovation corridor in the Yangtze River Delta and empower higher quality regional integration development.
According to Lu Feng, Director of the Market Supervision Bureau of Songjiang District, the "Report" is further iterated and upgraded in the context of higher quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta. Referring to the requirements of the national urban development strategy planning, the evaluation of "National Quality Strong City Demonstration City", and international standards for urban sustainable development, the objective reflection and comprehensive evaluation of the quality development status of each city is the purpose. Based on a scientific quality standard development indicator system, the report focuses on the actual development of quality standards in each city and pays attention to the advantages and characteristics of different cities, providing a basis for implementing the integrated development of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta.
"From the various indicators of the nine cities, compared with 2021, the overall development trend is good. The five cities with a total index above 80 are Suzhou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Songjiang, and Jiaxing, while the other four cities are in the 70-80 range. The total index of the nine cities is higher than last year's level. Lu Feng stated that we need to create new advantages in regional quality standard development, develop industries with different characteristics according to the characteristics of different cities, improve standard research and development capabilities, and stimulate technological innovation vitality.".
The first Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Quality Standard Contribution Award was presented at the meeting, which stimulated the innovation and contribution vitality of various market entities in quality standards.
In recent years, the foundation of quality standards in the nine cities of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta has been further consolidated, and significant progress has been made in quality standard work. In 2022, the nine cities jointly revised 58 international standards and 2083 national standards. Songjiang, Huzhou, and Wuhu have achieved outstanding results in promoting quality work, and have received supervision and incentives from the General Office of the State Council. Seven projects led by nine cities, including the improvement of aerospace material quality and the improvement of automotive parts industry quality, have been selected as the first batch of quality improvement demonstration pilot projects in the Yangtze River Delta. Through collaborative work on quality standards, the high-quality development of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor industrial cluster in the Yangtze River Delta has been effectively promoted.
As the birthplace of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta, Songjiang District adheres to the implementation of a quality strong zone and standardization strategy as an important measure to promote high-quality development, create high-quality life, and achieve efficient governance. It explores the launch of the first cross regional quality standard innovation financial product in the country, helping enterprises transform the "soft power" of quality standards into a "hard asset" of credit finance.
Chen Rong, Deputy District Mayor of Songjiang District, stated that we need to further strengthen the awareness of "one game of chess" and promote closer cooperation on regional quality standards; Further improve the "integration" mechanism and actively build new advantages for regional quality improvement; Further explore the benchmark of "one chain" and lead the quality standards of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta to advance in depth.
Since 2018, led by the Yangtze River Delta G60 Joint Office, five Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Quality Standards Conferences have been held successively in Songjiang, Shanghai, Wuhu, Anhui, Huzhou, Zhejiang, Suzhou, Jiangsu, and Xuancheng, Anhui. A normalized exchange and cooperation mechanism for quality standards work in nine cities has been formed, making positive contributions to promoting the integrated and high-quality development of advanced manufacturing industry clusters. It is reported that the 2024 Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Quality Standards Conference will be hosted by Hefei City, Anhui Province.
