Among the 17 clusters listed in the public announcement, Minhang District has 4 municipal level characteristic industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises, ranking first among all districts in the city in terms of quantity.

The four characteristic industrial clusters on the list in Minhang District are industrial intelligent manufacturing software industry cluster, intelligent hardware chip and module design industry cluster, intelligent service robot industry cluster, and gene industry cluster. They belong to the four major categories of digital economy, integrated circuit, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine.
