On the evening of July 30th, the 27th "Gathering of Chinese Children's Opera Plum Blossoms" collective project team's flower wearing evening party was held at the Cultural and Broadcasting Building Theater in Jinshan District, Shanghai. More than 1189 small opera actors from across the country gathered in Jinshan to showcase their skills on the stage of Little Plum Blossom, showcasing the charm of opera art to the audience with every move and move.
It is reported that the "Gathering of Little Plum Blossoms in Chinese Children's Opera" event was founded in 1997. It is a Chinese opera art inheritance and popularization activity organized by the Chinese Dramatists Association and co organized by the Dramatists Association of various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Drama Association. After more than 20 years of accumulation, it has become a brand activity for inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture, popularizing and promoting Chinese opera art, and cultivating a large number of reserve talents for the inheritance and development of Chinese opera art.
This event has received widespread attention and positive response from opera workers and young actors nationwide. After preliminary selection, a total of 80 programs from 28 provinces participated in the on-site final review of the collective project team. In addition to well-known Peking Opera, Kun Opera, and Yu Opera, there are also rare Pu Opera, Gannan Tea Picking Opera, and Xiang Opera, showcasing the grand scene of traditional Chinese opera where "one branch alone is not spring, and a hundred flowers bloom in spring.".

This flower wearing evening performance consists of four chapters: "Good Rain Moisturizes Things", "Sunshine Shines", "Renewal of Everything", and "Peach and Plum Blossom Garden", showcasing the inheritance and development of "small plum blossoms", shining with the confidence and radiance of Chinese culture. The Xiju from Tinglin Primary School in Jinshan District and the Shanghai Opera from Luoxing Kindergarten made their debut on the Peihua stage.
The Shanghai opera program "Reed Sanatorium" by the children of Luoxing Kindergarten in Jinshan District has gone through more than three months of learning and rehearsal, passed the test and stepped onto the stage of the final on-site review. Kindergarten teacher Shen Hong introduced that from the creation, rehearsal, to the blooming of the script, after multiple performances and trials, the final presentation of a vivid performance of Shanghai Opera cannot be separated from the careful guidance of excellent young actors Shi Jiajie and Qian Ying, as well as the efforts of the children and the strong support of parents and teachers. "The work of 'bringing opera into campus' is very meaningful. It allows the seeds of opera to take root and sprout on campus, inherits and promotes excellent traditional culture, and makes our children even more outstanding."
According to the leaders of Jinshan District, in order to vigorously promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture, Jinshan District has been vigorously promoting the construction of opera culture since 2017. It has combined the work of "opera on campus" with the construction of a demonstration zone for the comprehensive development of young people, the creation of regional art education characteristics, and actively explored a long-term working mechanism for the popularization and inheritance of opera art. Gradually, a Jinshan model of "opera on campus" regional promotion has been formed, and a batch of "small plum blossoms" have been cultivated.
