Inviting experts from all parties to provide suggestions for the development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry, and hosting a "Science and Technology Afternoon Tea" online conference in Pudong | Intelligent | Experts
On June 16th, the "Technology Afternoon Tea" event in Pudong was held around the theme of "Empowering the Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry with Numbers". Experts from all parties gathered together, guided by applications and driven by innovation, focusing on the digital transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry, and providing suggestions for the construction of an intelligent connected data ecosystem.
It is reported that "Technology Afternoon Tea" is a digital Pudong brand activity, focusing on the key work of reform and innovation in Pudong's leading area, and hot topics of urban digital transformation and high-quality industrial development. It regularly invites industry experts, technology experts, frontline scholars, and relevant leaders of intelligent departments to initiate collisions of thinking, stimulate sparks of inspiration, and jointly inspire wisdom, broaden horizons, stimulate innovation, and solve problems. This event is hosted by Shanghai Pudong New Area Big Data Center and Shanghai Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., and co organized by Shanghai Zero Number Technology Co., Ltd. and the Smart Transportation Professional Committee of Shanghai Transportation Industry Association.
Shi Wei, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Information Department of the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, stated that the most essential feature of intelligent connected vehicles is to promote the iterative upgrading of the intelligent connected vehicle industry through the exchange and sharing of data information. The Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission has released a series of innovative promotion measures in expanding the open testing roads and demonstration application scenarios of intelligent connected vehicles. "I hope that enterprises can make full use of this activity platform to explore how to form a data exchange and sharing mechanism within and outside the intelligent connected vehicle industry, and promote the commercialization and innovative application of intelligent connected vehicles."
During the keynote speech, Bao Min, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Blockchain Industry Promotion Center, pointed out that the digital economy promotes the continuous growth of the automotive market, with enormous potential. Bao Min shared how to apply blockchain concepts and technologies to build a new automotive ecosystem in this context. Qin Wengang, General Manager of Shanghai Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology Center Co., Ltd., from the perspective of promoting the coordinated development of intelligent connected vehicles and roads, pointed out that with the continuous breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, and 5G technology, intelligent transportation has the prospect of large-scale application. The vehicle road collaborative autonomous driving industry has become a sunrise industry, and the vehicle road collaborative dataset plays an indispensable role in the development of autonomous driving. However, there are few mature vehicle road collaboration datasets available, making it difficult for learning algorithms to achieve good results; In addition, in the implementation of vehicle road collaborative applications, there are problems such as delayed vehicle road communication, limited scope of action, and different configurations of multiple devices.
The subsequent roundtable discussion session, with the theme keywords of "vehicle road collaboration, autonomous driving, big models, data security, and intelligent transportation", was attended by experts from various parties who delivered brilliant speeches. Zhu Hao, Director of the Smart Transportation Professional Committee of the Shanghai Transportation Industry Association, proposed a suggestion to promote the sharing of automotive data throughout the entire industry chain through government enterprise cooperation. "We also hope to fully leverage blockchain technology to upload and store safety monitoring data during the testing and demonstration process of intelligent connected vehicles, safeguarding the sustainable development of the intelligent connected vehicle autonomous driving industry."
