On the afternoon of June 21st, the "Passionate Dragon Boat Festival Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance" - Huangpu District "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" series of activities were launched. The event integrates cuisine, beautiful scenery, traditional costumes, and ancient charm, creating a strong festive atmosphere. Together with young people, we will embark on the Dragon Boat Festival Intangible Cultural Heritage Feast. On the same day, the 2023 Huangpu District Intangible Cultural Heritage Summer College was also launched, encouraging young people to actively participate in intangible cultural heritage learning activities during the summer and cultivating awareness of intangible cultural heritage protection from an early age.
At the activity site, there was a lot of delicious Zongzi, and the staff on the site "walked through" wearing Chinese clothes. Under the guidance of the intangible cultural heritage transmission teacher, a rich and colorful feast of transmission has officially begun. Children have started to immerse themselves in the charm of intangible cultural heritage, learning and inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture firsthand.
Here, the production of sachet accessories has attracted the attention of children. The teacher explained the method of making sachets, the custom of wearing sachets during the Dragon Boat Festival, and the types and uses of spices. The children carefully cut the fabric, fold it, grind the grass into it, and sew it carefully, completing each exquisite sachet. Over there, the hot aroma of zongzi wafts, and the children are eager to give it a try. The leaves were folded between young hands, and glutinous rice, honey dates and red beans were sprinkled into them. The leaves were twined and fixed on the children's fingertips, and the angular Zongzi was shaped.
The two major Dragon Boat Festival themed learning activities have added a joyful and peaceful atmosphere, and also opened the 2023 Huangpu District "Intangible Cultural Heritage Summer College" activity. This year's "Intangible Cultural Heritage Summer College" activities will be held at the Haogu Cultural and Art Museum, Cultural Museum, Nanjing East Road Street, and Wuliqiao Street Community Cultural Activity Center. As the designated exhibition hall for the "Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall Student Tour" from 2023 to 2024, the Shanghai Haogu Cultural and Art Museum has installed a check-in device and presented a student tour activity map to young people who come to participate in the event, helping students and families enter the intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, embark on an exciting summer intangible cultural heritage journey, and unlock the infinite charm of intangible cultural heritage.
