Before the picture exhibition, many citizens stopped to watch and expressed that they had gained a lot of knowledge. For example, near Changfeng Bay, where the picture exhibition is located, it was the place where a famous Qing dynasty official died in water management in 1728. In the sixth year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty, Zhou Zhonggui, the governor of Songjiang Prefecture and also the governor of Taicang, was at the construction site of the Chenjiadu dredging project on the Wusong River. He took a boat to command the construction, but died in the water. After the dam was closed, the people built a temple for him, and Emperor Yongzheng issued an edict posthumously bestowing him with the title of "Shaoqing of Taipu Temple". Today, at the original site of the ancestral hall, the "Banmashu River Park" has been completed and opened to the public.

Mr. Wang, who lives in Zhongyuan Liangwan City, also carefully examined the history of Panjiawan, where his hometown is located. This is the birthplace of modern Chinese industry. At the end of the 19th century, Suzhou Riverside had convenient transportation and abundant labor, making it a competitive place for the development of foreign monopoly capital and Chinese national capital. In this context, areas such as Panjiawan Road to the north of Panjiawan, Moganshan Road to the south of Wannan, and Macau Road have become the birthplace of modern industry in China. The "flour kingdom" and "textile kingdom" of China were both born here. "Only by knowing the origin can we have a future," Mr. Wang said.

On the day of the event, the attending leaders presented books on the achievements of archival history and research in recent years to representatives of the red venue, veteran party members, schools, enterprises, archivists, and citizens. Grassroots archive cadres presented music poems reciting "The Cause of Green Leaves", expressing the spirit of archive workers in managing archives for the Party, guarding national history, and serving the people. The interesting Q&A on archival local chronicles not only allows residents to have a deep understanding of the spirit of the 20th National Congress, but also helps them better understand the archival local chronicle industry and become familiar with the situation in Putuo District. The song "Our Chinese Dream" and the dance "Su He Mei" express the community residents' longing for a better future of the motherland and praise the "Dream River" of Suzhou River.
