The 2023 Shanghai Book Fair and "Bookish China" Shanghai Week have kicked off. As a reading sub venue with "one district, one characteristic" outside the main venue, the activities of the Pudong New Area sub venue will be held at the Pudong Library starting today, contributing to promoting universal reading and building a bookish China.

The Pudong branch venue is guided by the Pudong New Area Committee Propaganda Department and hosted by the Pudong Library. In addition to the main library of Pudong Library, the event also covers multiple themed branches, characteristic study rooms, reading spaces, and street and town libraries in the Pudong area, including Biyun Art Museum, Hudong Yi Study, and Duoyun Academy Lingang flagship store. At the opening ceremony, seven cats and a hundred real-life themed works were collected at the Pudong Library, which not only expanded the scope and depth of traditional library collections, but also promoted the proper preservation and effective utilization of a group of high-quality digital reading resources represented by online literary works. This is the first collaboration between Pudong Library and Seven Cats, and it is also an innovative move by the library to adapt to the changing forms of reading for readers today.

The main source of the works included in this collection comes from the "Seven Cats Chinese Network Realistic Theme Essay Competition". Many of the works have won awards from the Chinese Writers Association, the Music and Mathematics Association, the Shanghai Writers Association, and other provincial and municipal Writers Association. Fifteen works have been granted physical publishing authorization and adapted. These works collected in Tibet revolve around the main theme of the times, aiming to "tell the story of China well and sing praises of the great era", vividly reflecting the active use of the innovative energy of online literature by writers to uphold social responsibility and responsibility.
