Major universities in China are currently focusing on disciplinary construction and talent cultivation around game artificial intelligence. Ren Xipei, Deputy Director of the International Design Center at Beijing Institute of Technology, stated that as a typical application of AI, game AI is gradually being applied to many life scenarios such as digital health. However, currently, students majoring in design have a lack of embodied experience and practical abilities in game AI health design, and there is an urgent need for relevant disciplinary training. Song Xiewei, Dean of the School of Design at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, introduced that in the process of promoting the transformation of the design discipline to interdisciplinary, teachers and students at the Central Academy of Fine Arts have begun to explore the use of artificial intelligence technology and gamified thinking, applying the two to social governance and optimization.

At the meeting, the Game Philosophy Research Center of Xiamen University, the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, and the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence and Social Research Association jointly released the "Observation Report on Playing with Artificial Intelligence Game Artificial Intelligence Industry", exploring the coordinated development of game artificial intelligence in theoretical research, GPU hardware iteration, and application scenarios. Taking Nvidia as an example, with its rich technological accumulation and high research and development investment in the gaming graphics card field, Nvidia has quickly risen to become one of the leading enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence chips. At the application level, games provide a controllable training environment and massive data for artificial intelligence. For example, Elia Suskville, co-founder and chief scientist of OpenAI, publicly stated that OpenAI utilizes complex and highly competitive games for AI reinforcement learning, providing a fundamental reference for the later emergence of ChatGPT technology.
In April this year, the Virtual Economy and Data Science Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Key Laboratory of Big Data Mining and Knowledge Management of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly released the "Exploring the Way of AI Innovation - Report on the Innovation and Development of Game Technology and Artificial Intelligence", which pointed out that the total operating income of AI listed enterprises in each province could increase by about 142 million yuan annually for every 1% increase in the Chinese game industry scale.
