Tonight, amidst the melodious sound of "midsummer dreams", Shanghai Urban Lawn Music Square embarked on a unique summer evening music journey. Shanghai citizens, music enthusiasts from all over the world, and artists went on a romantic journey dedicated to the charm of summer.

The 2023 Shanghai Urban Lawn Concert "Charm of Summer" and the Shanghai Summer Music Festival Urban Lawn Series Performance are hosted by the Huangpu District People's Government and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and organized by the Huangpu District Cultural and Tourism Bureau. As one of the oldest chamber orchestras still active on stage, they performed the Vivaldi Violin Concerto "Four Seasons", allowing the live audience to feel the changes of the four seasons in the clever changes of the movements.

The fusion of cross-border music is also a major highlight of this year's "Charm of Summer". It presents Jiangnan Pingtan with contemporary jazz music thinking and composition techniques, integrating it into the universal music language of the world. Based on the harmony color, compound rhythm, and improvisation of jazz, it allows ancient Pingtan art and contemporary world music language to be mutually inclusive, listen to, and converse, presenting a unique cross-border art.
