Why drive to the entrance of a commercial building?, This job fair for college graduates in Shanghai: Enterprise | Job Fair | Business
Coming out of the Dragon Dream Yashi Building where the company is located, I arrived at the job fair in just two steps, and then received several high-quality resumes. For Ms. Chen, HR of Shanghai Songwei Trading Co., Ltd., this was a day of extremely high work efficiency.
Ms. Chen participated in the city's first "Loumenkou" college graduate recruitment fair held yesterday in Raffles, Changning. This job fair mobilized nearly 40 building companies to launch over 1000 job positions through online and offline channels, attracting more than a thousand young people to consult and apply for positions. A total of 683 resumes were received.
Why do job fairs for college graduates come to the entrance of commercial buildings? The relevant person in charge of the Changning District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau explained that it has been a peak period for college graduates to seek employment recently. However, while young people are searching for jobs everywhere, some building enterprises are also worried about not being able to find their desired employees. In order to facilitate the smooth two-way travel between enterprises and job seekers, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau coordinated with the three parties of buildings, enterprises, and universities to actively connect and fully explore high-quality positions suitable for college graduates. For the first time, it explored holding a college graduate recruitment fair at the entrance of buildings.
Shanghai Songwei is a company specializing in the field of coatings and inks. Ms. Chen, HR, told reporters that due to the relatively niche nature of this industry, it often faces the embarrassment of having job vacancies but not being able to recruit people. Under the guidance of the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Shanghai Songwei voluntarily applied to participate in the job fair and set up a stall at the entrance of the building, offering various positions such as product manager, sales engineer, upstream supplier development manager, and management trainee. Most of these positions have a monthly salary between 15000 and 30000 yuan, which is quite attractive to job seekers. Not long after its opening, several resumes appeared on Ms. Chen's desk.
"If we don't hurry up, we'll have to compete with the new generation of graduates." After graduating this year, Xiaoqian, born in the 2000s, hasn't found a job yet. When he heard the news of the job fair, he rushed over. He saw a video director position at a pet company on site, and his eyes lit up. He immediately expressed his job search intention to the company's HR. "I clearly feel that the quality of the positions at this job fair is very high," said Xiao Qian.
The reporter saw on site that the event not only had service areas for career guidance and talent services, but also established a policy consultation area for enterprises, organizing "building staff" to provide on-site human resources and social policy consultation for building enterprises. At the same time, we also carry out visits to enterprises, organizing college graduates to visit and experience building enterprises, helping them to intuitively feel the work environment, corporate culture, and industry prospects, further improving the match between people and positions.
It is understood that in April this year, Changning District took the lead in exploring the launch of the "Human Resources and Social Services in Buildings" special action in the city, providing comprehensive human resources and social services around key buildings in the region. At present, more than 20 campus recruitment activities for building enterprises have been carried out, inviting more than 280 building enterprises to participate, providing more than 5800 recruitment positions, and receiving more than 1200 resumes.
