Serving the Citizens, Shanghai Big Data Center: Promoting the Upgrade of City | Governance | Code Application through "Suishen Code"
Since its launch, Suishen Code has developed a large number of convenient services in fields such as medical treatment, transportation, cultural tourism, and social governance. What new applications will "Suishen Code" provide in the future? Yesterday, the first Shanghai "Suishen Code" Application Innovation Competition came to an end, with innovative talents and enterprise teams from various industries focusing on technology assistance for the elderly and disabled, smart campuses, medical health, government services, urban governance, and other fields, submitting more than 200 entries.
The organizer of the competition, Shanghai Big Data Center, stated that it is currently accelerating the construction of a comprehensive urban service and governance system with "one person, one code, one enterprise, one code, one object, one code", to upgrade "Suishen Code" to a more convenient and functional "City Code".
Innovative applications are expected to be implemented and promoted
Last October, under the guidance of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and other units, the Municipal Big Data Center launched the "Suishen Code" Application Innovation Competition, soliciting practical and useful application solutions from innovative talents and enterprises throughout the city, so as to better serve the daily lives of citizens and the daily operations of enterprises. At the award ceremony, a group of award-winning works signed intentions with relevant enterprises, users, and other entities, and are expected to be further promoted in the future.
The award-winning work "Shen Ai No Obstacle · Parking Space on the Code" was created by fifth grade elementary school student Xu Xiaoyin. She proposed integrating the parking lot management system and "Suishen Code" to address the situation where accessible parking spaces in hospitals, shopping malls, and other places are occupied by ordinary vehicles. After quickly identifying the identity of disabled drivers and passengers, the lock of the accessible parking space will automatically open, achieving dedicated use of accessible parking spaces.
The team of East China Hospital has developed "Medical Service Status Check", where patients can display the "Suishen Code" on the self-service machine after arriving at the hospital to sign in and automatically enter the queue sequence. They can also view real-time queue status and system recommended queue priority on the "Suishen Ban" app.
We will continue to iterate and upgrade in the future
Zhu Junwei, Deputy Director of the Municipal Big Data Center, introduced that over the past three years since its launch, "Suishen Code" has been continuously iterated and has become an interconnected, ubiquitous, and intelligent "citizen and enterprise carry on service code", providing effective digital carrier support for promoting high-quality development, creating high-quality life, and achieving efficient governance. At present, the daily usage of "Suishen Code" is about 700000 times, mainly concentrated in medical, cultural and tourism, public transportation, government services and other fields.
Adults can now go to the hospital for medical treatment by presenting their "medical insurance electronic certificate" on their mobile phones to scan the code. However, in the past, children were unable to have their parents scan the code on their behalf or apply for their own "medical insurance electronic certificate", which caused a lot of inconvenience. On the basis of completing the integration of the "Suishen Code" and "Medical Insurance Electronic Certificate" codes, relevant departments and medical institutions in this city have also relied on the "Suishen Code" family service to achieve the application and use of the "Children's Medical Insurance Electronic Code" in the city. Currently, it has been launched and used in more than 400 public hospitals in the city, with a cumulative use of the exhibition code for medical treatment exceeding 28 million times.
At the same time, "Suishen Code" is also integrated with bus codes and subway codes, allowing citizens to achieve "one code access". In the field of cultural tourism, citizens can scan the QR code to enter venues such as the Shanghai Grand Theatre and Shanghai Library, and complete identity, ticket purchase, appointment and other verification simultaneously. They can also scan the QR code to complete identity verification at the Shanghai Library and apply for a reader's card or borrow books without physical identification. When working in the offline government service center, citizens can use the "Suishen Code" as a QR code digital business card and trusted identity certificate to achieve "one code service".
In the future, "Suishen Code" will continue to iterate and upgrade, strengthen personal and enterprise services, deepen and improve offline service scenarios, provide convenient "one code service" experience, promote the application of "Enterprise Suishen Code" in information disclosure, safety production, service recommendation, policy delivery, and comprehensive supervision, and create a digital business card for enterprises. At the same time, relevant departments will also classify and assign codes to urban components. Citizens can scan the codes to know the management entities, spatial geography, and other attribute information of public facilities, road traffic facilities, landscaping facilities, historical and cultural buildings, and other facilities. Innovative technologies such as blockchain will be added to achieve supervised and traceable "on code management".
