"After several moves, this pair of scissors has been well preserved." Ms. Liu Zhenhong donated the old-fashioned scissors used by her father Liu Zhao to handle documents and intelligence. Liu Zhao used to be a staff member of the Central Special Administrative Department and took on the custody of the Central Library in 1939. Liu Zhenhong introduced that during the period of storing the library materials, Liu Zhao managed to move and transfer more than 20000 documents, and cleverly hid, cut, repaired, and air dried them. "My father used the scissors in front of him back then. Although it looked ordinary, it has now rusted, but the story behind it has always infected the younger generation of us."

Wang Yawen has been engaged in the intelligence work of the Communist Party of China for a long time, and was also appointed as the leader of the Shanghai Rebellion Working Group. During the revolutionary era, he formed friendships with the older generation of party and state leaders such as Dong Biwu. In a letter donated by Wang Ji, the son of Wang Yawen, Dong Biwu expressed gratitude to Wang Yawen for congratulating him on National Day and encouraged him, "It is completely correct and necessary for you to say that you are willing to combine work, study, and labor together to work for the Party and socialism." In addition to the letters exchanged between Wang Yawen and Dong Biwu at different times, Wang Ji also donated letters exchanged between his father and leaders such as Song Shilun and Teng Daiyuan. He said that as a younger generation, we should not forget our original intention, forge ahead, and inherit and carry forward the great spirit of building the Party.

At the ceremony, a pipe engraved with traces of time witnessed the hidden struggle without gunpowder more than 70 years ago. The former owner of this pipe, Tian Yunqiao, a member of the Shanghai Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's Counterplot Work Committee, participated in the campaign to liberate Shanghai and conspired against Nationalist military officers. When engaged in secret work in Shanghai, Tian Yunqiao was holding this pipe in his hand, using a company manager as a cover, dressed in a suit and leather shoes, and circling the upper echelons of society for intelligence and counterintelligence work.
