On June 16th, the "Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Shanghai Museum of Culture and History," hosted by the Shanghai Museum of Culture and History, opened in the second exhibition hall of the Shanghai Library. It is reported that the calligraphy and painting exhibition will continue until June 22nd.
In the 70 years since its establishment, the Shanghai Museum of Culture and History has taken it as its responsibility to inherit and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture, gathering a large number of librarians who possess both virtue, talent, and prestige.
This exhibition showcases a total of 110 works of calligraphy and painting by the librarians, including 103 individual works carefully created by 52 librarians, as well as seven collaborative paintings by librarians from different historical periods since the establishment of the museum, covering calligraphy, seal cutting, traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, comics, etc. The theme of the work is distinct, the content is rich, and each has its own characteristics. It is ideological, contemporary, and artistic, showcasing the style of librarians who love the party, love the country, and uphold morality and art.
