On the afternoon of August 28, the final of the "New Journey to Chinese path to modernization" Shanghai Micro Publicity Contest on Learning, Publicizing and Implementing the Spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress was held in the World Expo Museum. Since its launch in May, the competition has received widespread attention and active participation from all sectors of society. A total of 711 entries were selected and submitted by 537 units. In the end, 20 groups of finalists gave on-site presentations and contests. After expert judges conducted on-site evaluations and audience voting, the list of major award winners in the competition was released.

The theme of this competition is focused on new achievements in the new era, with more diverse identities of participants and diverse perspectives for presentations. Participants from all walks of life based on the rich red resources and fresh practice scenes in Shanghai, from different perspectives such as a century old party history, economic achievements, scientific and technological innovation, cultural confidence, grassroots governance, ecological civilization, rural revitalization, etc., tell stories of hard work around them, share the development process of the industry, and convey the "voice of Chinese path to modernization" of Chinese modernization.
The contestants cover 16 districts in Shanghai, with different ages and identities, including government officials, enterprise employees, grassroots workers, scientific researchers, venue guides, community residents, students, and other representatives from different industry groups. On the stage of the final, more advanced representatives, such as the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the national model workers, and the national exemplary individual for poverty alleviation, spoke about their practical insights in person, making the audience feel a deeper spiritual strength.

In the final performance, the scenario drama "When I grow up, I will become you" brought by the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China Memorial Hall tells the story of Li Jin, a national exemplary individual who fights against poverty and the principal of Shanghai Gongkang Middle School, who has gone to Akesu, Xinjiang, and Shigatse, Xizang to support teaching for more than ten years. Under his inspiration, his daughter also became a member of the Xizang branch of the religious troupe... The emotional performance, together with the carefully prepared "Fu Hua Dao", and the reproduction of the real scene made Li Jin, who watched the performance on the stage, very impressed.

The firefighters at Hongkou Fire Rescue Station brought a music bulletin board with a micro lecture titled "Party Building Leading the Blue Flame", integrating the red cultural accumulation of the "birthplace of the Party", the century old mission inheritance of the fire station, and the development of the emergency firefighting era into the catchy music bulletin board. The performance was neat, uniform, and grand, showcasing the spiritual style of firefighters in the new era.
Zhan Chunpei, an intern captain of the "Maritime Patrol 01" ship from the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, is the first female pilot in the maritime system with unlimited navigation zones. With the title "Towards the Sea and the Future", she tells the story of the rapid development of China's maritime supervision capacity construction and vivid cases of maritime emergency response, demonstrating the dream of maritime people in the new era to strive for strength in the sea and pursue deep blue dreams.
After preliminary auditions and semi-finals, the top 100, top 40, and top 20 contestants were born successively. Finally, after three days of professional training, 13 individual and 7 team contestants stepped onto the stage of the final performance. After strict selection by 13 final judges and on-site voting by 300 spectators, the final selection resulted in 4 first prizes, 6 second prizes, and 10 third prizes, as well as individual awards such as "Most Charming Award", "Best Creativity Award", and "Most Popular Award". The winners were presented on-site.
