On June 26th, the official website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development updated the leadership bulletin board: Wang Hui, Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province, was appointed as a member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development.
This is the fourth provincial-level government deputy to come to Beijing this month to serve as a new minister. Previously, Wang Zhizhong, Deputy Governor of Guangdong Province and Director of the Provincial Public Security Department, returned to the Ministry of Public Security as Deputy Minister; Wu Xiuzhang, Vice Chairman of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Government, serves as the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security; Guo Fang, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, has been appointed as a new member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
Wang Hui took office twice within six months and served as a member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development
The transfer to the Party group of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development is Wang Hui's second job adjustment this year. In January of this year, Wang Hui was elected as the Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province during his tenure as the Secretary of the Nantong Municipal Party Committee, responsible for ecological environment, water conservancy, agriculture and rural areas, and rural revitalization. He will no longer serve as the Secretary of the Nantong Municipal Party Committee in March.
According to public data, Wang Hui was born in July 1968 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province. He used to be the Deputy Commander in Chief and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Front Headquarters of Jiangsu Province's Counterpart Support to Lhasa City, the Standing Committee Member and Executive Deputy Mayor of Lhasa City, Xizang Autonomous Region, and the Deputy Director of the Housing and Urban Rural Development Department of Jiangsu Province.
In 2015, Wang Hui was appointed as the General Manager of Jiangsu Guoxin Asset Management Group, and two years later became the Chairman of the group.
According to the official website of the group, Jiangsu Guoxin Group was established in August 2001 and is a large state-owned sole proprietorship enterprise group in Jiangsu Province. It mainly engages in state-owned capital investment, management, operation, transfer, enterprise custody, asset restructuring, management consulting, and other businesses within the scope authorized by the provincial government. The registered capital is RMB 30 billion.

In December 2019, Wang Hui was appointed as the Deputy Secretary and Acting Mayor of Nantong City. He was elected as the Mayor of Nantong City in January 2020. In July 2021, he took over as the Secretary of the Nantong Municipal Party Committee.
In January 2023, Wang Hui was elected as the Vice Governor at the first session of the 14th Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress.
Wang Zhizhong returns to the Ministry and assumes the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security
According to the official website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, on June 26th, International Drug Control Day, Wang Zhizhong, Deputy Governor of Guangdong Province, Director of the Provincial Drug Control Commission, and Director of the Public Security Department, was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Public Security.
According to the public resume, Wang Zhizhong was born in 1965 in Cangxian, Hebei Province. He graduated from Xuzhou Air Force Academy with a major in combat command and a master's degree in military science. He is a first-class police officer.
Wang Zhizhong has worked for a long time at the Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, and was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Security Bureau in 2015.
