Today, the Municipal Medical Insurance Center held the "Medical Insurance Handling Service Direct Bus" event for the first time. The event focuses on the actual needs of biopharmaceutical enterprises and invites representatives from 27 pharmaceutical and medical device companies to discuss and exchange ideas on better serving the development of the biopharmaceutical industry. The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Medical Insurance Center introduced the work of handling the list of medical insurance drugs in this city, the process of applying for medical insurance codes for disposable medical devices that can be charged separately, and new medical service items. They answered questions raised by representatives of pharmaceutical enterprises, helped enterprises to have a deeper understanding of the relevant medical insurance handling services, and worked hard to promote the rapid application of new technologies and products in clinical practice, benefiting the people.
It is understood that in recent years, the municipal medical insurance department has taken strong measures to optimize the business environment, actively serve and promote the development of the city's biopharmaceutical industry. One is to expand the scope of medical service projects and medical device insurance payments. Currently, 76 new medical service projects have been included in the scope of medical insurance payments. This year, we will continue to expand the inclusion of mature new projects and medical device items in the scope of medical insurance payments. The second is to optimize the admission process for new technologies. For new technologies that have been applied for the first time in clinical practice, after being approved for fee registration, other hospitals only need to complete the registration procedures to charge, promoting the acceleration of the application of new technologies in clinical practice. 105 new projects have been announced and implemented, and 4174 new project registrations have been completed. The third is to accelerate the speed of new project review, improve the management mechanism during the trial period of new projects, and enable medical institutions to independently set prices during the trial period. Three months before the end of the trial period, prices will be determined through procedural review to further accelerate the speed of new project review. The fourth is to improve the dynamic adjustment mechanism of the medical device catalog. For products that are included in the national or local special review procedures for innovative medical devices that can be registered and listed at an additional fee, enterprises can directly apply for the local fee code or adjust the catalog. 50 new catalogs of medical devices that can be used at an additional fee have been announced, and 7471 new medical device codes have been added.
As an important part of the "Face to Face" activity of the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, the "Medical Insurance Handling Service Direct Bus" activity is a new platform built by the Municipal Medical Insurance Center to communicate and dialogue with medical insurance service recipients face-to-face, better serve the development of the local biopharmaceutical industry, and the vast number of designated medical institutions and insured groups.
