The Memorial Hall of the Chinese Leftist Writers Alliance is a patriotic education base and party history education base in Shanghai, and underwent architectural renovation and exhibition updates in 2019. In the morning, Gong Zheng and his delegation came to the memorial hall to watch the exhibition "Flag of Red Culture - Left Alliance and Chinese Left Cultural Movement", and to have a detailed understanding of the construction and operation of the memorial hall, as well as the promotion of red culture. The former residence of Ba Jin has witnessed the life journey of a literary giant in the latter half of his life. Gong Zheng walked into his former residence, inspected the architecture and exhibition, listened to introductions on the protection of historical buildings, hosting public welfare exhibitions, and conducting research on Ba Jin. The Wu Changshuo Memorial Hall is an ancient residence with a history of 110 years. The architecture is a blend of Chinese and Western elements, with exquisite carvings. It has become a unique traditional cultural presence in the towering Lujiazui area. Gong Zheng watched the exhibition in the museum to gain a detailed understanding of the museum's promotion of Shanghai style culture and its service to both domestic and foreign audiences.
