Dong Yiwen is appointed as the Executive Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the Deputy Minister of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the United Front Work Department
According to a recent update on the Shanghai United Front website, Dong Yiwen has been appointed as the Executive Vice Minister of the United Front Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Municipal Government.
Dong Yiwen was born in February 1973 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. She has a university degree and a master's degree in public administration. She started working in July 1995 and joined the CPC in December 1994. She has served as the Secretary of the Yangpu District Committee of the Communist Youth League, Deputy Secretary and Director of the Yangpu District Kongjiang Community Party Working Committee, and Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Yangpu District Committee.
In 2013, she was promoted to the position of member of the Standing Committee of the Jiading District Committee and Minister of the Organization Department. Later, she served as a member of the Standing Committee and Deputy District Chief of the Jiading District Committee. In 2020, she became a member of the Standing Committee and Executive Deputy District Chief of the Pudong New Area District Committee.

Huang Hong, former Executive Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Municipal Government, was born in May 1963. Currently, he is a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, the Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress.
