In terms of consumer prosperity, in 2022, Beijing achieved a service industry added value of 3.5 trillion yuan, a total tourism revenue of 252 billion yuan, and online retail sales above the limit accounted for 39.8% of the total retail sales, both ranking first in domestic cities; Service consumption accounted for 54.7% of total consumption, an increase of 3.3 percentage points from 2019, indicating a clear trend of upgrading consumer spending among residents. The final consumption rate is 56%, and consumption plays a significant fundamental role in driving economic growth.
In terms of commercial activity, Beijing has 161 four-star or above hotels and a total of 1044 departure tax refund shops, ranking first in domestic cities; We have 117 Chinese time-honored brands and 223 Beijing time-honored brands.
In terms of consumer comfort, in the 2022 consumer satisfaction evaluation of 100 cities in China, Beijing ranked 9th, making it the only nurturing city to enter the top 10; There are over 100000 convenient commercial outlets in the community, achieving full community coverage.
In terms of accessibility, in 2022, Beijing has 105 international air routes, achieving access to 86 cities, and the total scale of the city's rail network reaches 1172 kilometers, ranking first in the country.
Ding Yong said that this year, Beijing will increase the area of commercial facilities by about 2.4 million square meters, mainly in the new plain area, which will greatly improve the supply of commercial facilities in Beijing.
