The 2023 China International Trade in Services Fair will be held in Beijing from September 2nd to 6th. According to a press conference held by the State Council Information Office in Beijing today, this year is the first year for China to fully resume offline exhibitions. This year's Fair for Trade in Services has increased its offline invitation efforts, highlighting internationalization, authority, and professionalism, further promoting exchanges and negotiations between exhibitors, mutually beneficial cooperation, and win-win outcomes.
Over 500 Fortune Global 500 and leading companies participated in offline exhibitions
The scale of the 2023 Global Service Trade Summit will expand, with a higher level of offline guests. Some foreign dignitaries, ministerial level guests, and international organization leaders will be invited to attend and deliver speeches.
The host country of this year's Service Trade Fair is the United Kingdom, which has formed the largest exhibition group since the exhibition. 51 countries and 24 international organizations will hold offline exhibitions in the name of national governments or headquarters.
As of August 20th, more than 2200 companies have participated in offline exhibitions, including over 500 Fortune Global 500 and industry leaders, covering 28 countries and regions in the top 30 of service trade, with an overall internationalization rate exceeding 20%.
More than 60 enterprises and institutions have launched new technologies and products for the first time
This year's China International Fair for Trade in Services will hold over a hundred forum and conference activities, including the "Year of Investment in China" service industry promotion, the signing ceremony and supporting activities of the United Nations Beijing Convention on the Judicial Sale of Ships, to deeply explore the path of open development, cooperation and win-win services.
Among various forums and conferences, 66 will be held by international organizations, embassies in China, overseas institutions, and relevant national ministries, and more than 100 authoritative information will be released, including the China Service Trade Development Report and the World Tourism City Development Report.
131 domestic and foreign ministers, heads of international organizations, academicians and other influential guests will attend the conference offline or online. More than 70 enterprises and institutions will participate in the release of results, of which more than 60 will launch new technologies and products.
Over 12000 professional visitors attended the conference
This year's Service Trade Fair has established an Exhibitor Federation, established cooperation with more than 70 institutions, organized enterprises to participate in procurement, created offline and online release halls, and provided a platform for enterprises to release new technologies and achievements. As of now, nearly 5000 companies have participated in online exhibitions, with over 12000 professional visitors invited to attend.
A central financial enterprise trading group consisting of 17 financial enterprises and institutions, a central enterprise trading group consisting of 71 member units, and a trading group continued to be formed in 31 provinces, 5 planned cities, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
Increase electric scooters, serving capacity, and number of meals
This year's Service Trade Fair will continue to improve the convenience and service guarantee level of exhibitors and exhibitors. In terms of transportation, the National Convention Center area has added traffic guidance points at major intersections, and within the area, we strive to achieve seamless passage of venues. The Shougang area has increased the number of electric vehicles and planned a more reasonable internal transportation system. Continue to set up shuttle vehicles between the two areas, with a maximum peak interval of 15 minutes.
In terms of supporting facilities, the number of public locations has been increased, and 12 volunteer service stations have been set up. Volunteers will assist in providing route guidance, information consultation, and material distribution. The 400 customer service hotline optimizes the efficiency of incoming call queuing, increases backup lines for telephone networks during peak hours, and reserves foreign language seats.
In terms of dining, the regional catering capacity of the National Convention Center has been further improved. The Shougang area has added facilities such as rest areas and sunshades, increased food supply and number of meals, and increased service support by nearly 20%.
Selling imported exhibits during the exhibition period and enjoying tax incentives
In terms of tickets, certificate centers have been established in the National Convention Center and Shougang area to facilitate exhibitors in applying for certificates. Ordinary visitors can buy tickets through five official channels, including the official website of the trade fair, the official website of mobile phone, the trade fair APP, WeChat official account, and applet.
In terms of serving exhibition merchants, this year we have launched an exclusive import product tax policy. Each import exhibitor who sells imported exhibits during the exhibition period can enjoy the "three exemptions" policy of exempting import tariffs, consumption tax, and import value-added tax in accordance with the tax preferential policies of the China Service Trade Fair.
In addition, the mascot "Fuyan" element of this year's Service Trade Fair will appear more on site. At present, the series of cultural and creative derivatives of "Fuyan" has developed more than 60 products in six categories, and a batch of selected derivatives will also be concentrated on the market at the Service Trade Fair.
