On June 12, 2023, Xingye Taikoo Hui launched the sixth "Play Me, I'm Yours Playing for You" charity piano art season.
This year, the organizers collaborated with French artist Cyril Lansing to present a large-scale art installation called "City Chords" at the North Square, while collaborating with local brands to create multiple creative pianos, inviting everyone to fully perform their inner melodies.
The diversity of forms is the foundation of Shanghai life. This event season, based on music and art, also incorporates trendy sports gameplay, cleverly combining movement and stillness to unveil a grand event that resonates with the city.

On the occasion of the benchmark event "Shanghai Nightlife Festival" during the May 5th Shopping Festival, the organizers enhanced the event with a sense of experience and painted the colorful world of music in the urban center, playing the artistic harmony of the night economy.
At Xingye Taikoo Huibei Square, the 10 meter high "City Chord" stands like a music hall.
Unlike the usual creation based on the piano, Cyril Lansing takes the piano keyboard as a source of inspiration, with layered black and white stripes forming the main form of the air model building, and jumping blue purple squares emerging from it, like notes jumping between the keys and flying towards the sky.

Within the urban chord, intertwined light and shadow endow the space with a flowing beauty, and together with the piano waiting for the audience, form this musical world.
People can freely explore, immerse themselves in visual and spatial experiences, or play notes, interact with music, and fully release themselves.

The graffiti piano with the same name is placed inside the "City Chord", decorated with classic black and white stripes and integrated with the air model building, welcoming people to sit in the spotlight.
To unlock more forms of artistic piano expression, the creative piano "Impressions of London" will also be presented on site. Through the creation of graffiti artist Rula, people and Harold Bear will be immersed in beautiful notes together.
