This project, constructed by Shanghai Urban Investment and undertaken by Shanghai Road and Bridge Tunnel Co., Ltd., has officially completed and opened to traffic the western section of the main bridge of the Wusong River New Chuansha River section bridge project. It is also the first bridge among many projects of the Wusong River New Chuansha River section to achieve the completion and opening of a half section bridge of the main bridge.
The main span of the newly built Feiyun Bridge bridge will be increased from 16 meters to 125 meters, and the lanes will be increased from the original two-way 5 lanes to two-way 6 lanes, greatly enhancing the traffic capacity. In addition, the clearance height of the bridge deck will be raised from less than 3 meters to 10 meters, and the separation of human and non-lane crossing will be realized. At that time, pedestrians will be able to walk on the bridge and enjoy the scenery while crossing the river.
