According to the website of the Ili Prefecture Government, on June 3rd, Zhu Gengyuan attended the executive meeting of the state government as a "state leader" and ranked ahead of deputy state leaders such as Dali Liebuk Kanga Khan.
Zhu Yuanmeng, male, Han ethnicity, born in May 1970, native to Chuzhou, Anhui Province, holds a postgraduate degree from the Provincial Party School, a Bachelor of Literature, and is a member of the Communist Party of China.

Zhu Gengyuan has worked in Chuzhou, Anhui for a long time, serving as the Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Tianchang Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of Quanjiao County Party Committee, etc. In February 2021, he was transferred to become a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and in December of the same year, he was appointed as the Deputy Mayor of Urumqi City.
