Lou Yangsheng pointed out that the current summer harvest battle in the province has entered the decisive stage. Doing a good job in summer harvest in northern Henan Province is related to the summer grain yield and seed safety. We should focus on seizing opportunities and make every effort to organize the wheat harvesting work in the northern Henan region, minimize losses, and protect the interests of farmers to the greatest extent possible. One must accurately forecast the weather. During the intermittent period of rainfall, concentrated surprise harvesting should be carried out, and the role of the village work team and emergency harvesting service team should be played to achieve fast harvesting by every means possible. Drying and drying need to be further explored and intensified, with sufficient use of drying equipment, increased efforts in purchasing wet grains, and timely implementation of drying and storage. At this video scheduling meeting, Anyang City, Hebi City, Xinxiang City, Jiaozuo City, Puyang City, and Shangqiu City reported on the progress of the local "Three Summers" work. Among them, Anyang, Hebi, Xinxiang, Jiaozuo, and Puyang all belong to the northern Henan region.

According to the latest summer harvest progress reported by Henan authorities, as of 17:00 on June 4th, Henan Province has harvested 49.64 million mu of wheat.

Among them, the wheat harvest in Xinyang, Nanyang, and Zhumadian has basically ended, with 9.064 million mu in Zhoukou, 2.641 million mu in Pingdingshan, 1.743 million mu in Luoyang, 1.641 million mu in Shangqiu, 1.421 million mu in Kaifeng, 1.419 million mu in Luohe, 1.299 million mu in Zhengzhou, 1.079 million mu in Xuchang, 1.252 million mu in Xinxiang, 4.31 million mu in Anyang, 224000 mu in Jiaozuo, 198000 mu in Puyang, and 133000 mu in Hebi.

In terms of weather, according to the meteorological department's forecast, on the evening of June 6th, there will be heavy rain in Anyang, Puyang, Shangqiu and other places.

Wang Chengqi, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Henan Province, introduced at a press conference on June 4th that according to the work arrangement for emergency harvesting, the areas south of the Yellow River in the province will achieve a large-scale landing of emergency harvesting on the 4th. From the 5th to the 7th, the focus of the recovery will mainly shift to the area north of the Yellow River, which is the main battlefield for the recovery.
