At present, it is scorching summer, and since June, the highest temperature at multiple national meteorological observation stations in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and Shandong has exceeded historical extremes. The scorching heat is approaching, and doing a good job in preventing and cooling down heatstroke for employees is related to the safety and health of countless workers, and the labor union is dutiful. The All China Federation of Trade Unions recently issued a notice on doing a good job in heatstroke prevention and cooling for employees in 2023, providing guidance and deployment for this seasonal labor protection work. Trade unions at all levels should take active action, adhere to the principle of putting people first, and implement the requirements of the All China Federation. They should not only "fight against high temperatures, ensure safety, and promote production", but also demonstrate the warmth of trade union organizations by "sending coolness". Ensure the supply of heatstroke prevention and cooling materials, seek feasible cooling measures in high-temperature production environments, timely and sufficient distribution of high-temperature allowances, and explore the use of technological means to improve the accuracy and accessibility of heatstroke prevention and cooling services. Wherever there are workers working under high temperatures, there are the figures of the union's "mother family", effectively bringing cool care to every worker's side.
