Zakharova angrily criticized: Britain's actions have ruined its conscience. Britain | Russia | conscience
According to the Rossiyskaya Gazeta on July 18, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zaharova commented on the anti Russian sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom, saying it was "a naked hypocrisy".
According to reports, London has previously implemented restrictive measures against Russian citizens and organizations such as the International Children's Center of the Czech Republic, Russian Minister of Education Kravtsov, and Minister of Culture Liubimova.
Zaharova said that London, who has lost the last bit of conscience, attempts to explain its illegal unilateral restrictions by "protecting children". At the same time, it is those who are sanctioned who directly participate in the rescue and assistance of children from special military operation zones out of their duty and sense of mission.
When commenting on the restrictions on the International Children's Center in the Czech Republic, Zakharova emphasized that "the philosophical foundation of this unique children's institution - the concept of global child friendliness - seems to be at odds with Britain's pseudo humanitarianism.".
Zakharova said that while demonstrating false concern for children, London continues to shamelessly provide the Kiev regime with deadly weapon systems.
She said, "The shells and missiles provided by Britain take lives and cause disabilities, making those children it seems to 'protect' orphans. This makes London an accomplice to the Kiev regime, and it cannot evade responsibility."
The diplomat also emphasized that "no crackling of sanctions can help Britain influence Russia's sovereignty policy", and "the goals of special military operations will be fully achieved".
