Pita's Far Progressive Party unexpectedly became the winner in the election on May 14th. He was the only candidate for prime minister in the parliamentary vote on July 13th, but he still needs 51 votes to reach a sufficient number of votes.
On the 15th, Pita called on his supporters to "unleash their creativity" and urged the upper house to support him in the next round of voting. He said, "I cannot change the thoughts of the Senate alone. Therefore, I request everyone's help to complete this task."
Pita said, "Convey information to the senators in every possible way, in every way you can think of."
