The third China Africa Economic and Trade Expo opened in Changsha, Hunan yesterday, with the theme of "seeking common development and sharing the future". What are the highlights of the expo? Let's take a look together ↓
CCTV reporter Fu Lei: Today is the second day of the opening of the 3rd China Africa Economic and Trade Expo. I have discovered multiple firsts of this expo, including the first setting up of 9 high-end events hosted by national ministries and institutions; Holding forums and seminars for the first time focusing on traditional Chinese medicine cooperation, quality infrastructure, women's exchanges, vocational education, and other fields; For the first time, a trade negotiation conference was held around characteristic light industrial products and textile clothing. At the same time, China Africa high-quality "the Belt and Road" achievement exhibition and China Africa women's innovation and entrepreneurship achievement exhibition were set up in the main exhibition hall of Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center for the first time, which is also a major feature of this exhibition.
The China Africa Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition Area, located at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, features enthusiastic African dances representing "Welcome". At the same time, programs such as African drum dance, street dance, and the Oriental Elegance fashion show take turns performing here.
The design inspiration for the "Lianxin Bridge" at the exhibition came from the first modern cable-stayed bridge in Africa built with Chinese aid. The semi-circular arch of Lianxin Bridge reflects on the floor, forming a complete circle, symbolizing the mutual affection and friendship between Chinese and African women.
The exhibition area comprehensively utilizes various forms such as text, images, videos, physical objects, multimedia interaction, and exhibition performances, using visible, tangible, and audible methods to let everyone understand how Chinese and African women communicate and help each other.
Since 2015, China has implemented 200 "Happy Life Projects" and poverty reduction projects primarily benefiting women and children in Africa.
At the same time, the Sino African Love Exhibition Wall specially designed for this exhibition features a pink butterfly shaped main body. The display cabinets inside Butterfly Wings include jewelry, coffee, avocado, and other items from Africa, as well as clothing, wigs, and luggage exported to Africa.
The achievement exhibition is not only beautiful, but also fun. At the exhibition site, there are experience areas such as Xiang embroidery, Liling underglaze colorful porcelain, and women's calligraphy skills, presenting colorful elements of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. Here, the audience can interact with masters of intangible cultural heritage, embroider Xiang embroidery, write women's books, or color ceramics to experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
Starting from July 1st, the main exhibition hall will be open to the public for two days for free, and citizens can visit and experience shopping. It is expected that the number of visitors will exceed 100000 at that time.
