Western media exposed that the CIA had long known about the destruction of the pipeline of the "Beixi" plan | Beixi | Plan
Last September, the Nord Stream pipeline, which transported natural gas from Russia to Europe via the Baltic Sea, exploded. Although Western countries such as the United States have always claimed that they were not aware of and did not participate in the destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline, according to media reports from the Netherlands and other countries, the Central Intelligence Agency had already learned about the destruction plan against the Nord Stream pipeline three months before the explosion last year. A senior Russian diplomat in the United States stated that the role played by the United States in the North Stream incident needs to be investigated thoroughly.
According to Dutch Broadcasting Company, intelligence obtained by the Dutch Military Intelligence and Security Agency in June last year showed that the North Stream pipeline destruction plan involved a diving team and a sailboat, and the CIA did not make a statement after receiving intelligence from the Netherlands.
After the destruction incident, the United States has been pretending to be deaf and mute, claiming that it was unaware beforehand and did not participate in related actions, and even pointed the finger at Russia.

In recent months, several American media outlets such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal have successively exposed the CIA's prior knowledge of the destruction plan against the North Stream pipeline. On the 13th, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller still refused to comment on the aforementioned report. He said that multiple European countries are conducting investigations into the North Stream incident, and the United States will wait for the results of the investigation.
On the 14th, Andrei Lejenev, Minister Counselor of the Russian Embassy in the United States, stated on social media that the "North Stream" incident requires a "transparent and objective" international investigation, and the role played by the United States in it also needs to be "clarified".
Last September, the Nord Stream pipeline, which transported natural gas from Russia to Europe via the Baltic Sea, exploded. It is widely believed that this incident was a deliberate act of sabotage. Denmark, Sweden, and Germany each conducted independent investigations. Russia has repeatedly called for a joint investigation and sharing of investigation results, but has been rejected by Western countries.
