In Yu Village, Tianhuangping Town, Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, where the concept of "green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as gold and silver" originated, Wang Yucheng, the village party branch secretary, often introduces this place to guests who come to conduct research and visits. "More than 20 years ago, cement factories and mines were everywhere here, and the explosion of mountains and mining caused 'the mountains are bald and water becomes soy sauce soup'." Wang Yucheng said, "Since 2003, with the help of the 'Ten Million Project', the village has shut down mines and cement factories. Now, 'people walking in Yucun is like traveling in a picture', and the beautiful ecology has become a golden business card of Yucun."

Having retained the green mountains and clear waters, and preserved a thousand views, Yucun is welcoming more and more youthful energy.

In July 2022, the "Yucun Global Partner Program" was launched, inviting global talents to jointly build Yucun and broaden new paths for green development. "Nowadays, global partners have covered various types such as graduate education, cultural creativity, agriculture and forestry industry, digital economy, etc., with more than 40 partner projects settled in. Thousands of college students have come to work and live in Yucun and surrounding villages, and new economic and business formats are flourishing here." Wang Yucheng told reporters.

In the rural library transformed from a cement factory, a Chinese themed coffee shop has recently officially opened. Not only does it sell coffee here, but it also displays many classic Chinese animated figurines and related products, such as Sanmao Wandering, Nezha Naohai, Avanti, Black Cat Sheriff, Shuke and Beta, Huluwa... Classic animated cartoon characters from Shanghai Art Film Studio inject joy and vitality into Yucun.

"Rural areas have irreplaceable values that cannot be replaced by cities. Natural resources, local culture, and the infinite possibilities of rural areas all attract young people to come." Speaking of the original intention of starting a business in the village, Chen Zhe, the coffee shop manager and young entrepreneur, said that the beautiful natural environment and the high popularity of Yucun make him believe that Chinese comics, coffee, and Yucun can collide to create different sparks.

In the process of deepening the "Ten Million Project", Yucun focuses on digital vagrants, entrepreneurial youth, and employed college students, attracting and gathering 1000 domestic and foreign young talents, and building a large-scale talent community called "Qinglaiji".

After learning about an interesting digital nomadic community in Yucun, Xu Lingyin, born in the 1990s, quit his nine to five job and drove from Tianjin to work and live in the countryside. He used a computer to keep in touch with the world.

"Coming from the city to Yucun, I yearn for the green mountains and clear waters here. Working in such an environment with my back against the mountains and facing the fields makes me feel particularly relaxed and happy," Xu Lingyin said.

When global partners and digital nomads gather together from all over the world, more wonderful chemical reactions begin to occur.

Yu Village collaborated with 24 administrative villages in Tianhuangping Town, Shanchuan Township, and Shangshu Township to coordinate the introduction of talents and capital, and developed "Dayu Village", giving birth to a development blueprint covering 100000 square meters of entrepreneurial space, more than 20000 square meters of factories, nearly 60000 acres of bamboo forests and farmland, forming a vivid situation of point to area, regional linkage, and overall improvement. Continuously expanding the transformation channel from "green mountains and clear waters" to "golden mountains and silver mountains", "Dayu Village" is moving towards the goal of "high energy, modernization, and international standards".

Xu Song, the manager of Yucun Digital Nomad Commune, and 11 other digital vagrants formed a project team and participated in the planning and design of the Anji Wuxiangba Wetland Park project. The cross industry and collaborative operation model has given rise to many golden ideas.

The trendy building "Yucun Impression" renovated by a chemical plant has been built, which can rely on renewable energy photovoltaic power generation systems for carbon offsetting and is truly a zero carbon building.

Young entrepreneur Shen Jie took a glance at the high-quality water source in Zhongyu Village and settled the "Digital Ecological Fishing Warehouse" project here. With a volume of only 33 cubic meters, it can achieve a traditional fish pond aquaculture yield of 1 acre, and achieve precise fish farming through industrial standard management. In just half a year last year, the village received a dividend of 250000 yuan according to the cooperation agreement, and it is expected to exceed 1 million yuan this year.

Yucun, who chose the right path for green development, has benefited from the "Ten Million Project". After 20 years of development, the "Ten Million Project" has entered a new stage of development. "We hope more young people come together to build 'Dayu Village' and broaden new paths for green development," said Wang Yucheng.
