We will review all exemption drafts, Zelensky: There is corruption
According to the "Russia Today" website, on the 30th local time, the National Security and Defense Commission of Ukraine decided to review every exemption draft issued since the Ukrainian crisis, citing widespread corruption.
According to reports, Ukrainian President Zelensky announced after the NSDC meeting, "All decisions are clearly unfounded and illegal, and cases should be handled by law enforcement agencies."
The report states that the committee has also decided to fully digitize the entire armed forces database and modify the criteria for determining military service qualifications to prevent "manipulation" and give field commanders more opportunities to find suitable roles for soldiers.
NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov stated that Ukraine is launching a "newly approved" further mobilization plan to gather as many personnel as possible to continue fighting.
The report pointed out that earlier in August, Zelensky signed a decree to dismiss the heads of all regional military committees in Ukraine. Previously, the Ukrainian Security Agency announced the discovery of a "widespread conspiracy" by military medical committees in 11 regions of the country to forge health exemptions.
According to previous reports, Zelensky stated that "a key issue is the inspection results of various military registration and conscription offices. There have been a total of 112 criminal lawsuits against these office officials." Among these issues, he mentioned "illegal acquisition of wealth, legalization of illegally obtained funds, illegal acquisition of benefits, and illegal cross-border transfer of military service personnel.".
