The preparation for the Chengdu Universiade has entered the sprint stage, and all preparations are progressing in an orderly manner. As an important venue for the registration and certification management of personnel and vehicles for the Universiade, the Registration Center of the Chengdu Universiade Organizing Committee is actively carrying out registration and certification work, making full preparations for the upcoming grand event.
As one of the earliest units put into operation by the Chengdu Universiade Executive Committee, since the issuance of the first identity registration card on June 9th, the Chengdu Universiade Organizing Committee Registration Center has been operating continuously for more than 60 days. On June 19th, the registration center welcomed the first batch of officially appointed volunteers for the Chengdu Universiade. 49 competition volunteers will be on duty in batches, responsible for assisting the registration center in completing the quality inspection of certificates, including data acceptance, data acceptance, appearance acceptance, and finished product warehousing.
Due to the special nature of certification work, communication tools such as mobile phones are not allowed to be carried in the certification workshop. The volunteer management team of the registration center of the organizing committee has set up a book corner in the volunteer station, adding books to help volunteers adjust their status in a timely manner and facilitate mutual learning, reference and exchange, and better carry out their work.
"As one of the earliest volunteers to work for the Chengdu Universiade, I feel extremely lucky," said Yang Dingyu from the Broadcasting and Television major at Chengdu University. "Every time I think of myself shining and heating up for the Chengdu Universiade, I am full of enthusiasm!" Li Yujia, a volunteer from the Network and New Media major at Chengdu University, believes that her volunteer service at the registration center has fully experienced the power of teamwork. "We may not have known each other before, but in our work, we quickly got to know each other, worked closely, cooperated with each other, improved work efficiency, and worked hard to complete the registration and certification tasks. We are ready for the Chengdu Universiade!" she said.
Luo Bintan, Deputy Director of the Registration Center of the Chengdu Universiade Organizing Committee, said, "Volunteer work is proactive and timely, efficiently assisting in the production and verification of identity registration cards and vehicle documents for Chengdu Universiade personnel."
By July 19th, the first batch of 49 volunteers on duty will have a full month of service. They rushed to their posts early and silently persevered in their busy work, dedicating their youthful strength to the successful hosting of the Chengdu Universiade with enthusiastic, thoughtful, efficient and professional volunteer service.
