Dear Chairman Dino, distinguished guests, and friends,

I am delighted to participate in the Global Think Tank Conference again. For many years, the conference has focused on the international development trend, pondered on the future and destiny of humanity, and provided suggestions for the development and prosperity of Asia and the world. The theme of this year's conference is to promote "dialogue between civil society in the north, south, east, west, and east", which is very important in the turbulent international situation.

The direction of the pendulum of history depends on our choices. To this end, the Chinese side is willing to propose several initiatives:

Firstly, we must always adhere to true multilateralism and work together to improve the global governance system. In today's era, emerging market countries and developing countries are emerging in groups, and the world is showing a strong trend of multipolarity and democratization of international relations. Last week, the successful Johannesburg meeting of BRICS leaders marked a historic step in expanding the BRICS cooperation mechanism and wrote a new chapter in global solidarity and cooperation among southern countries.

As an important force in shaping the international landscape, we must adhere to independence and autonomy, respect the development path chosen by various countries, and firmly grasp our destiny in our own hands; We must adhere to unity and mutual assistance, support each other on issues related to each other's core interests, strengthen coordination on major international and regional issues, and continuously enhance the voice and influence of the global South in international affairs; We must adhere to fairness and justice, always uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core, oppose hegemonic bullying, and work together to promote global governance towards a more just and reasonable direction.

Secondly, we must actively practice open regionalism and promote the development and revitalization of Asia.This is a valuable experience for Asia to become the most dynamic and growth potential region in the world, and it is also an inevitable choice for achieving lasting prosperity in the future.

Currently, Asia has become a highland for global economic recovery and development, shouldering the heavy responsibility of promoting a new round of globalization. We must seize the opportunity, seize the opportunity, adhere to the concept of openness to lead regional economic integration, fully leverage the role of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, oppose "decoupling and disconnection", oppose "small courtyards and high walls", and build a more smooth and integrated regional economic cycle. We must adhere to building an open rather than exclusive circle of friends with an inclusive attitude, respect the central position of ASEAN and the ASEAN led regional cooperation framework, abandon the Cold War mentality, oppose zero sum games, and keep the region away from geopolitical calculations, not being a pawn in the game of major powers.

Thirdly, we must strive to promote the path of good neighborly and friendly coexistence, and jointly build a community with a shared future in the surrounding areas.Over the past decade, under the guidance of this important concept, we have worked together with neighboring countries, watched and helped each other, consolidated political mutual trust, integrated interests more closely, and fostered friendly relationships among the people.

China has always placed its neighboring countries in a priority position in its diplomacy and is committed to building a stable and prosperous common home. We must continue the tradition of good neighborly friendship, promote the spirit of seeking common ground while reserving differences, and let the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and the Bandung Spirit shine in the new era. We must adhere to the principle of being good to our neighbors and companions, and interact with neighboring countries as if we were relatives. Through mutual respect, we can enhance mutual trust. We need to strengthen investment and trade, deepen the integration of production and supply chains, accelerate connectivity, and achieve win-win results through mutual achievements. We need to carry forward the Asian value of valuing peace, promote exchanges in cultural, tourism, think tanks, media, youth and other fields, and make the people of the region more familiar, close, and compatible.

Fourthly, we must firmly adhere to a common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security concept, and jointly maintain regional peace and stability. The Ukrainian crisis has sounded an alarm for humanity, and similar tragedies cannot be staged in Asia. We should promote regional security through dialogue and cooperation, and oppose sacrificing other countries for absolute security. Properly handle and manage differences through dialogue, and jointly maintain the hard-earned peace situation in the region.

Over the years, with the joint efforts of China and ASEAN, the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea has been fully implemented, and the overall situation in the South China Sea is stable, providing a good environment for regional development. However, the trees desire tranquility while the wind does not stop. Individual extraterritorial forces, in order to serve their own geopolitical needs, constantly stir up trouble and sow discord in the South China Sea issue among regional countries. This conspiracy to undermine peace in the South China Sea will not succeed, and this hidden mastermind must be exposed. China is always willing to resolve differences through dialogue with relevant countries and seek effective ways to control the maritime situation; We are always willing to fully and effectively implement the Declaration with ASEAN countries, strive to reach the "Guidelines" as soon as possible, and jointly build the South China Sea into a sea of peace, friendship, and cooperation.

Taking advantage of the historical trend and pursuing the right path in the world.Over the past decade, the "the Belt and Road" has taken root and flourished. It has become an open, inclusive, mutually beneficial, win-win and popular international cooperation platform. Next month, China will host the third the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. We are willing to work with the international community to comprehensively summarize the achievements and experience of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, and explore in depth the ideas and measures for high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" from a new starting point.

In this era full of hope and challenges, we must recognize the compass of historical development and grasp the steering wheel of human progress. For the benefit of the world, with the heart of the people, adhere to unity and cooperation, work together for world development, and create a better future!
