During the recently held Media Open Day event, more than 250 media reporters entered the "Media Home" in advance to gain an on-site understanding of the spatial layout and functional division of the main media center.
It is understood that the main media center of the Hangzhou Asian Games is located at the Hangzhou International Expo Center, as well as within the competition venue group of the Hangzhou Asian Games. It is adjacent to the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, Olympic Sports Center Swimming Pool, Olympic Sports Center Tennis Center, and Olympic Sports Center Comprehensive Training Hall, and is a 15 minute drive from the Media Village.

According to on-site staff, the main media center is one of the most important non competition venues for the Hangzhou Asian Games, responsible for media operations, news promotion, and broadcasting services. At the same time, it is also the headquarters of the Media Committee of the Asian Olympic Council, broadcasting agencies, licensed broadcasters, and news information service teams.
It is worth mentioning that many service details of the main media center are in line with the concepts of green and intelligent hosting for the Hangzhou Asian Games.

In addition to traditional news release halls and interview rooms, the main media center of the Hangzhou Asian Games has also set up a "cloud interview" room to solve problems such as the long distance of competition venues in co hosting cities and the inability to timely interview athletes.
Through the "Cloud Interview" system, Chinese and foreign journalists can conduct real-time interviews with athletes in the mixed area or press conference hall of the competition venue in the main media center, achieving efficient linkage between the main media center and the venue.
About 10 "cloud computers" were set up on site in the commercial service area. The on-site staff introduced that the "cloud computers" in this batch of service main media centers do not have physical hosts but have powerful performance. All calculations and storage are carried out in the "cloud". During the game, Chinese and foreign media reporters can use intelligent media application software here to automatically recognize characters, speech, and text through artificial intelligence algorithms, apply relevant templates, and achieve efficient processing and broadcasting of news products.

"Window of Culture" showcases charm
In addition to the functions of event news release and media services, as an important venue for showcasing the image of the Asian Games and urban culture, the Hangzhou Asian Games Main Media Center is also a "humanistic window" that carries cultural dissemination.
The cultural exhibition area in the lobby of the main media center presents a strong "Jiangnan charm". Here, cultural elements with Chinese characteristics and host city characteristics, such as traditional Chinese painting, celadon, and Yue opera, are showcased, and cultural interactive experiences such as tea art, fan art, and Hangzhou embroidery are set up on site.
The main media center of the Hangzhou Asian Games is equipped with a living service area to meet the transportation, shopping, catering and other needs of domestic and foreign media reporters. For example, providing coffee leisure, sleep cabins, lifestyle supermarkets, traditional Chinese medicine massage, haircuts and other services.

"Through this museum area, we hope to achieve the effect of allowing traditional Chinese medicine culture to be seen, learned, and experienced."
According to Xu Deqing, Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, after preliminary preparations such as construction, comprehensive debugging, drills, and open days, the main media center will be put into trial operation on September 9th and officially operational on September 18th.
